This year two Swiss made timepiece brands made their debut in the UK via online retailers WatchShop.com and The Watch Hut. Continental and EverSwiss landed offering affordable luxury, great for men who are looking to add to their watch collection.
We have taken a look through the collection and picked out our top three from each.
Continental
While officially registered in 1924, Continental has been making Swiss made timepieces since 1881. Continental uses the highest grade materials with Ronda and ETA Swiss Made movements.

This unique men’s Swiss made timepiece from Continental features a gold plated stainless steel case and black leather strap.
The dial is what makes this timepiece really stand out. Along with the gold hands showing hours and minutes, it also features a date window. But, what really sets this watch dial apart is the separate hand which moves to the days of the week (Monday through Sunday) at the top half of the dial. There is also a seconds subdial at the bottom of the face. An eye-catching timepiece that’s both sleek and modern.

Following a more traditional design in a classic watch, we think this Continental timepiece is the perfect watch to go from office to evening events. It features a stainless steel 40mm case surrounding the white dial which features Roman numerals and illuminated hours and minutes hands. It also features a seconds subdial as well as a date window. It has a soft black leather strap.

For the gentleman who prefers a stainless steel strap, this is our favourite from the wide selection, mainly due to the contrasting stainless steel set alongside the black dial.
The stainless steel strap connects to the stainless steel 39mm case surrounding the black dial which features silver hour and minute hands. It has sleek hour baton markers and a seconds subdial, offering a more minimalist design.
It’s water resistant to 50 metres making it perfect for the man who might be going straight from a morning swim at the gym to the office.

While we are used to seeing gold and stainless steel feature in many two-tone timepieces, EverSwiss has gone a step further with this men’s watch in a two-tone rose gold and stainless steel finish. From the metal strap, the feature runs throughout. The crown is in rose gold and the hour markers (the 12 and 6 hour marks are in Roman numerals) along with the hour, minutes and seconds hands are also in rose gold.
