Haunting Halloween Drinks Recipes
- 30 ml MONIN Chocolate Cookie syrup
- 1 scoop Le Frappé de MONIN Vanilla
- 120 ml milk
- 1 cup of ice
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend for 20 seconds. Pour into your cup and garnish with a selection of creepy crawly themed toppings.
Spooky Caspa-cino
- 15 ml MONIN Vanilla syrup (or any other flavour)
- Double Espresso
- 180 ml milk
Add the vanilla syrup and double espresso to the cup and steam your milk until frothy. Pour frothed milk into the cup, garnish with ghoulish ghost toppings
Red Pickle Tickle
- 50ml Gin Mare
- 15ml fresh lemon juice
- 15ml fresh orange juice
- 1 teaspoon of red cabbage pickle juice
- 1 teaspoon of clear honey
Place all ingredients in a cocktail tin and shake hard. Strain into a martini coupe. Garnish with fresh rosemary.
Don’t Feed the Zombies
- 30 ml MONIN Blood Orange syrup
- 1 scoop Le Frappé de MONIN Vanilla
- 120 ml milk
- 1 cup of ice
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend for 20 seconds. Pour into your cup and garnish with a selection of zombie themed toppings.
Death by Hot Chocolate
- 15 ml MONIN Chocolate Cookie syrup (or any other flavour)
- Hot chocolate powder
- 240 ml milk
Prepare the hot chocolate and add in the chocolate cookie syrup. Top with whipped cream and a large heaping of chocolate.
Pickled Quail’s Egg Martini
- 50ml Gin Mare
- 10ml dry vermouth (Martini or Cinzano)
- 1 pickled quail’s egg
Stir the gin and vermouth over ice and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a pickled quail’s egg on a cocktail stick.
The Poison Apple Cocktail
- 20 ml MONIN Apple Pie Syrup
- 50 ml gin
- 20 ml lemon juice
- 25 ml apple juice
- 0.5 grams charcoal powder
Shake all ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass or goblet. Garnish with an apple slice.
Mare Pumpkin Flip
- 60ml Gin Mare
- 1 whole egg
- 30ml buttermilk
- 20ml pumpkin beer syrup
- Dehydrated long pumpkin
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 1 Star anise
To make the pumpkin beer syrup:
Find a seasonal pumpkin beer – one with spices added is best. Pour beer into a sauce pan and stir vigorously to remove CO2. Add equal parts sugar. Heat/stir until dissolved, then let cool.
Method:
Add ingredients into a shaker tin without ice. Dry shake hard for 10 seconds. Then add ice and shake hard for approximately 20 seconds. Double strain into a chilled glass and dust with nutmeg.
Festive Snapper
- 50ml Gin Mare
- 150ml tomato juice
- 10ml port
- 10ml fresh lemon juice
- 5 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 3 dashes Tabasco
- Salt and pepper
Stir all ingredients over ice and strain into an ice filled highball glass. Garnish with a cocktail stick of a Spanish hot pepper, an anchovy, a gherkin, an onion, and an olive.
