Absorbing the capital city Antananarivo’s hidden treasures and beautiful architecture will occupy the guests’ first day, before spending their first night in Maison Gallieni, a restored colonial mansion with an elegant mix of modern and traditional décor. Located on a hill in the historic heart of the Malagasy capital, it offers a spectacular view overlooking the town.
The following days will take guests to the northwest coast city, Anjajavy. Here they will stay at the enchanting and opulent Anjajavy Lodge. The lodge’s 25 duplex rosewood villas have private decks overlooking the ocean and meals are served on the beach.
Wayfairer guests can enjoy a variety of customised activities during their stay in Anjajavy strolls through Madagascan forests spotting nocturnal lemurs and exotic birds, a visit to the cave of the Sakalava (home to an underworld of stalagmites) and walks along the picturesque Giant’s Causeway and the King’s Alley.
