57 Events by Nichole is an event coordinating company that focuses on corporate events, birthday parties for adults and kids, cocktail parties, holiday parties, weddings, and non- profit events. Recently, we profiled the company and spoke to founder Nichole to discover how they are able to transform their clients’ dreams into a reality. Owner and designer, Nichole Reed, has helped countless individuals and companies create memorable events. Throughout the year, Nichole works with a diverse group of clients. Nichole’s mission is to ensure that all of her clients and their guests, leave with a smile on their face having created precious memories that will be talked about for a lifetime. Going into further detail about the company, Nichole begins by explaining how both herself and the team achieve excellence in the services they provide. “I truly believe that a successful business is all about communication. As such, I respond and return calls in a timely manner, proving my clients with good customer service. I realise my clients are putting the most important day of their life in my hands, and so I work diligently to make them feel comfortable. Most of all, I partner with amazing vendors and a great team for every event to ensure perfection. “Our clients have a variety of packages that they can choose from ranging from a small intimate wedding to a large extravaganza. Events by Nichole offers full service packages allowing brides to say yes and letting us take over. We can do everything from planning the whole event, decorating the day of the event, coming up with the designs for cakes and centrepieces, set up and break down, Events by Nichole does it all.” Recently, Events by Nichole were selected in LUXlife ’s 2018 Ones to Watch in the Wedding Industry in which they were righteously awarded the title, Best for Beach Wedding Planning - Virgin Islands. When discussing the win, Nichole is keen to highlight what the accolade means to her, as well as touching on the exceptional team that help to turn clients’ dreams into reality. 1809LU22 “I am always really excited to get any award and especially this one. With every project, I work really hard and put my heart and soul in every wedding like it is my own. It is always nice to see that it all pays off in the end. “Even though we are a very small company, the team that I have are complete rock stars, as such I could not imagine Events by Nichole without them. No matter what, they always have a smile on their face, as they work hard and diligently to get everything done, exactly the way my client imagines it. They always act professional and can conquer any task given to them. Together with the client, we are one big team.” Bringing the interview to a close, Nichole reflects on the wedding industry currently, explaining to us the challenges that they have had to overcome. “This past year was a challenging year. St. Croix was hit with two category five hurricanes. With that, I did not know what to expect for my year. We went weeks without phone service or internet. However, we did not allow those challenges to ruin either our dreams or our clients’. My vendors and staff worked tirelessly over time to find creative solutions and let the party go on.” Looking ahead to what the future holds, Nichole signs off by explaining how every year there are more and more fun exciting stuff which are coming out on the market and as such, she tries to stay current. The reason being, that this will allow her to add special touches and uniqueness to every wedding that she does. “Moving forward, I just want to keep doing what I am doing now and making people happy. I think with all the hard work that I do and the passion that I have, I hope to be even more successful and for my company to be on the map for all of the Caribbean to see.
