Showcasing the club’s place as one of the world’s top spots for music lovers, over the last six years Ushuaïa Ibiza and David have worked together to create some of the hottest parties, not just on the white isle, but the entire planet and this year has been no exception. This year David played an extended run of dates across four months, from the 4th June to the 24th September. David Guetta and his show BIG, is still an international reference in the electronic music world. As always, Ushuaïa Ibiza brings you the best electronic music shows in the world, starring names such as NERVO, Kygo, Hardwell, etc. In this case, with BIG, David Guetta returned to what is, in his own words, his favourite stomping ground. Music fans have also been able to enjoy the Garden of Madness, which returned for an extra special extended run for its second season. This unique event took place every Tuesday from 19th June for fourteen consecutive weeks, Tomorrowland residents Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike were back at the helm for another summer of pure mayhem. The Belgian brothers called on a host of A-list stars to join them throughout the season, with last year’s guests including the likes of Steve Angello, Steve Aoki, Marshmello, David Guetta, Lost Frequencies, Carnage and Nervo. Renowned for their impeccable productions, this year the show featured a custom-built stage by the production team behind Tomorrowland and Ushuaïa Ibiza, with a stunning array of visuals that will ensure this is one of the most impressive shows of the year. Tomorrowland is still one of Europe’s top festivals, with over 400,000 people attending the 2017 edition. It brings together some of the world’s best DJs in one spectacular show, ensuring that any guest of Ushuaïa Ibiza enjoys a truly awe-inspiring experience they will never forget. Another top club which offers guests a unique chance to experience Ibiza’s party scene at its finest is Hï Ibiza, part of Ushuaïa Entertainment and located in the heart of Ibiza clubland, Playa d’en Bossa. The club stays true to the open-minded spirit of Ibiza, bringing together music lovers to dance, discover and experience the magic of the white isle. This vast expanse of pure party aims to offer guests a unique glimpse of how Ibiza’s night and day collide to form a party like no other. Since opening its doors for the very first time in 2017, Hï Ibiza has played host to many of the biggest names on the electronic music scene, welcoming thousands of party revellers from all around the world, all eager to experience the island’s latest nightlife institution. With world-class residents, state-of-the- art design and sound and a commitment to putting the clubber at the centre of the experience, the ground-breaking club has proved itself a force to be reckoned with. Following the announcement of a full club takeover and return to their original island home of Hï Ibiza, world-renowned DJ and production duo Tale Of Us undertook their 15 weekly programs of their acclaimed party series Afterlife, which will be hosted in the club. This year’s line-up has been carefully curated into a singular musical journey, encompassing the melodic dancefloor sound Tale Of Us are best known for as well as more experimental and darker techno. The program includeed some of the most popular names in Ibiza, with Dixon, Nina Kraviz, Ben Klock and Âme just a few of those appearing on Thursday nights, offering club-goers the chance to enjoy a plethora of exceptional music. The residency is notable for its large roster of underground and upcoming artists, some of whom have never played Afterlife before, such as debutant Jon Hopkins and for pioneers like Carl Craig or Robert Hood. Another tantalising addition is Maceo Plex, who became a key player with four sets. As usual, the Afterlife regulars and label artists were also in strong presence like Recondite, Mind Against, Adriatique, Vaal, Woo York, Agents Of Time, Patrice Bäumel and more. Another event which graced this unique venue in 2018 is Glitterbox, which made its debut last year at the newly opened club, and now returns for a second run, with an illustrious line-up including Louie Vega, Dimitri From Paris, Roger Sanchez and Kiddy Smile, making this return a must-see for club fanatics. In September, the club was proud to be part of a legacy of Ibiza club nights when it hosted the renowned Cream Ibiza, one of the island’s longest-running and most successful events ever. With Robin Schulz, Jax Jones, Kungs and Jonas Blue all featuring, the show was sensational and has cemented Hï Ibiza’s place as one of the masters of the Ibiza showstopper. Looking ahead, 2019 is set to build upon the successes of 2018 and provide even more opportunities for music lovers to enjoy a taste of true Ibizan hospitality.
