The conversations that happen at the start of a project are crucial to discussing and setting expectations with the client as soon as possible. We will usually create some rough visuals to accompany our proposal so that the client can see an interpretation of the finished result. This approach ensures success every time.” As part of this focus on ensuring it provides clients with the solutions they need, the Media Collective has to adapt to market changes to ensure it is continually ahead of emerging trends in the design space. Jez highlights the latest challenges facing the market and how his company’s solutions are designed to overcome them. “Currently, a repeating issue with the design industry is that it is labour intensive but that most people have real trouble visualising ideas, so they expect you to do most of the design up front before they decide. Our Wonderwalls are part of our solution to this, where we created designs that appeal to many schools, making it cheaper to adapt for each location and cuts out the need to allocate concept time for each pitch.” As he looks to the future Jez foresees even greater success for the Media Collective, as he is proud to conclude. “Moving forward, we are excited about developing many new Wonderwall designs as well as launching some new products to schools in the near future.
