As such, this allows us to showcase our Liqueurs nationally to restaurants, bottle shops, bars and individuals with an online presence.” Over the years, the company has slowly expanded their business, such as purchasing an Italian bottling line 18 months ago, which has made the team’s life that little bit easier, as Domenico explains. Cece Liqueur Pty Ltd is an Australian Artisan Liqueur producer based in Smithfield, NSW. Following their success in LUX Life’s Food and Drink Awards, we caught up with Managing Director, Domenico Cece who revealed the secrets of the family-run business. “The machine sterilises the bottles, fills them with our Liqueur, caps them and finishes the process by labelling them. This has been a massive time saving purchase. Another machine purchased was a fruit washer that cleans and dries 300KG of fruit per hour. These processes were all previously performed by hand, and now the technology in the machinery has made our business more efficient. Currently, our new website is being rebuilt and we are forecasting greater traffic resulting in more online purchases.” To date, Cece Liqueur Pty Ltd has accumulated countless awards for their service and products. One of their recent wins includes being selected in LUX Life’s Food and Drinks Awards 2019 where they were righteously awarded the accolade Liqueur Brand of the Year 2019 – Australia. When discussing the remarkable success, Domenico attributes the company’s accomplishments to the team’s strong belief in the products they produce and sell. “Dedication, passion, tenacity and belief in our product are the main factor. As a result, our clients can see this reflected in each of our products and in presence when we are educating and advertising our products.” With the family run business growing from strength to strength, the future looks bright for Cece Liqueur Pty Ltd. Looking ahead, Domenico signs off by revealing the exciting plans which lie in the pipeline for the firm, touching on some of Cece Liqueur Pty Ltd’s potential leads in the years to come. “Moving forward, we are excited with the prospect of selling to overseas markets. We are currently in negotiations with several overseas clients and have leads to approach others as well. At the moment it is in the inception stage and there needs to be more time and effort invested in this area, but it seems promising.” More recently, Cece Liqueur has opened up a new bottling plant which, among many delights, houses a by appointment-only Cellar Door that consists of a Carrara Marble bar area with delicately hand-crafted joinery – a fitting reflection of the quality of the products on offer.
