Of course, it plays an enormous role, but just as important is the overall experience. Good food can be found in many places, but an atmosphere of warmth and authenticity cannot be manufactured. It develops naturally over time, growing as part of people and places. That’s the heart of what Bunno offers – it brings an experience to the table like no other. When going to Bunno for some of their delightful fresh pasta, the experience begins at the front door. The fresh pasta shapes available are visible in the front window, allowing customers to see and appreciate the pure quality that is on offer. This incredible team produce fresh egg pasta on the premises, including classic options such as penne, fusilli, bucatini, torchietti & ravioli. As pasta is quite a filling product, the team offer a fair quantity with their meals so that people leave the restaurant happy and satisfied. Bunno is the only coffee roasters in the area too, roasting their coffee fresh in front of the restaurant. The team roasts three different sorts of coffee, these being Artisan Light roast, Cappuccino Dark Roast and Caffeine Boost - medium roast. This means that there is an option to suit every palete and requirement. Throughout the operation of Bunno, whether it is day or night, is a delightful element of theatre that is incredibly refreshing. The team make the effort to open up a world that many know little about, teaching their customers about how their food and drink are made. All the staff are of the highest possible calibre, being either experienced baristas or qualified chefs. With so much on display, the team are happy to serve customers at all times, offering a front-of-house Bunno is a home of two halves. By day, it’s a charming coffee shop, but by night it transforms into the home of fresh pasta in Romford. The team has created some truly beautiful meals, freshly made each day to a truly delectable standard. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the team has had to adapt to the new measures implemented by the government. With a long list of customers who admire their food, it was the obvious choice to put food on delivery platforms during the lockdown. This decision has proven to be incredibly popular amongst local residents. Everyone within 3.5 miles can receive delicious freshly made pasta that stands above any of the competition. People come to Bunno not just because of the food, but because the food’s standard is so high and consistent. Providing meals in this way has done nothing to slow the team’s efforts. As the success of Bunno has become clearer, the team have started to look at other ways of reaching a wider audience. While they would love to grow to more sites, preserving what they already have must be the priority. All the permanent staff have been able to stay with the team throughout lockdown, working on flexible furlough in order to have the job for all eventually.
