Plastic production and disposal contribute to roughly 3% of all global emissions. The manufacturing process of Acqua Innovation’s Odello bottles uses only the 100% biosourced material to shape its eco-friendly bottles. Polylactic acid (PLA) is a special polymer made from natural biomass, and most often fermented plant starch. This manufacturing process generates less greenhouse gas emissions than petroleum-based plastics. Acqua Innovation is dedicated to using environmentally friendly manufacturing processes to produce its plant-based bottles. The company also uses 100% ecological packaging, supplementing with biodegradable labels, natural glue, and edible inks.
