We caught up with Marketing Manager, Jasmine Chua from the establishment to learn more about this innovative dining concept. Pince & Pints Lobster Restaurant of the Year 2018 - Singapore Since its inception in 2014, Pince & Pints has remained one of few restaurants in Asia specialising in lobster. Jasmine shares an insight into how far the eatery has come over the past four years and how it is still evolving to this very day. “Here at Pince & Pints, our live lobsters are sourced from the Atlantic Ocean, where the water are colder, which results in sweeter, whiter and more tender lobster meat. These live lobsters are flown into Singapore 2 to 3 times weekly to ensure the freshest supply possible. We do our part for the environment and sustainability by only working with fisheries that practice sustainable fishing methods. Our signature dishes include our Classic Lobster Roll, Grilled Lobsters and also Asian-inspired dishes such as Lobster Noodles, Chilli Lobster and Black Pepper Lobster. Additionally, we have a specially curated beverage menu such as our mocktails lychee crush, Mr & Mrs Smith etc to pair with our food. Currently, we have three outlets: two in Singapore and one in Malaysia. “Having achieved this incredible success, at Pince & Pints we are keen not to rest on our laurels, and as such we constantly research and innovate dishes. Such dishes are only ever serve to our customers after we ourselves are fully satisfied with the outcome. We tend to keep our food menu concise to better manage the quality. Pince & Pints has also received multiple awards since day one. One way of bench-marking ourselves in this industry is by garnering awards. We want to keep ourselves on our toes and know our position in the market. Such awards are also a testament to our excellent food, drink, ambience and service. It keeps the team motivated to push ourselves further, achieve more and improve on the already high standards we have.” Central to the restaurant’s success is its dedicated team, and as such Jasmine is proud to highlight the firm’s internal culture and how this helps it to ensure guests receive the very highest possible standard of service and support. “As a small team, we have the merit of being nimble and closer to the ground staff than other bigger players. The management spends a significant amount of time interacting with our staff to ensure that the company’s values are communicated clearly and effectively. We also encourage our staff to speak their minds, to provide us feedback on how they feel the business can improve. We cherish and value their opinions, and we are glad the communication is both ways.
