Global Wedding Awards 2023 | 7 The Troubadours have had the pleasure of performing for some of the world's most well-known celebrities including Beyonce, Jay Z, Sean Connery, Alexandre Arnault, Prince Albert, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Lewis Hamilton. Roger Federer and his family are also known to be huge fans, and the band has had the honour of playing for them on several occasions. These experiences have not only been thrilling for the band members but have also helped to solidify their status as a toptier entertainment option for high-profile events. More recently, the band played the star-studded wedding ceremony of Elliot Grainge and Sofia Richie (daughter of Lionel Richie), at an exclusive venue in the South of France. Completely self-sufficient and acoustic, the band requires no sound system, stage, or lighting, and they like to be amongst the audience throughout the evening. Beginning their first set as soon as dinner is served, bursting in on unsuspecting diners and going from table to table to play for each group of guests, The Troubadours love taking requests and bantering with the guests while performing harmony-driven songs from all styles and genres. The second set starts as guests are finishing their main course, and again the band strolls around the room from table to table, upping the energy and getting the crowd involved. During this time, there is typically a lot of crowd participation! The third set is when The Troubadours really unleash and get the party going, usually as guests are having dessert, coffee, and/or after speeches. Exploding with an array of high-energy party songs, and getting up close and personal with the crowd, as opposed to performing onstage, the band really gets everyone involved in the experience. Expect rock ‘n’ roll, pop and dance, old singalong classics, and a really awesome party atmosphere! The aim is for the clients to have one of the best parties of their lives that they'll remember forever. As a highly experienced wedding band, The Troubadours have noticed several developments and challenges in the industry recently. One major trend is the increasing demand for unique, personalised wedding experiences that reflect each couple's individuality and style. To stay ahead of the curve, the band has focused on providing a personalised, high-quality service to its clients and works closely with each couple to understand their vision and preferences, and tailor all performances accordingly. Recently, The Troubadours celebrated success as they were named in the Global Wedding Awards as Best International Wedding Band 2023 – France. This coveted and prestigious accolade is testament to the dedication, commitment, and enthusiasm that the band has shown over the years. The future for The Troubadours is looking bright and exciting. The band’s dedication to excellence has paid off and they have seen strong demand for their services, proudly being fully booked for 2023 and with upcoming shows this year in some amazing destinations including The Maldives, the Middle East, and all over Europe. The gents are especially thrilled to be showcasing in Las Vegas and hope to build new clientele and fans in the US too. With bookings already racking up for 2025 and beyond, the entire band is excited to continue pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the wedding industry, and delivering unforgettable experiences for all clients. “As a band, we are always looking to revamp our repertoire and this year is no different. We constantly strive to improve and provide the best possible show for our clients. As we continue to grow and expand, our internal culture remains rooted in transparency, respect, and equal enthusiasm. “We believe that our strong team dynamic and shared passion for music is what sets us apart in the industry. Our success is not only measured by the number of shows we book but also by the relationships we build with our clients. As we move forward, we will continue to prioritise these values and work hard to maintain our reputation as a top-performing band in the wedding and events industry.” Company: The Troubadours Email: [email protected] Web Address: www.troubadoursriviera.com
