We find out more about Ashnay and the services she can offer following her winning a title in the Health Beauty and Wellness Awards 2023. As an expert in eyebrow shaping and threading, Eyebrow Therapy has vast experience customising eyebrows to the perfection of the beholder, creating the perfect base for us to all walk with confidence. Coming from a background of hairdressing and beauty therapy, and as a make-up specialist, business Owner, Ashnay Deo, really knows her stuff. “Our eyebrows are the frame of the eyes, and we know you use the eyes to attract your truest desires, especially when it comes to you achieving your dreams,” she explains, highlighting the significance of getting these key facial features in ship shape order. “We know the importance of eyebrows and how much they can make a difference to the way you appear, especially when putting makeup on.” As well as make-up services, Ashnay also offers wellness services specifically regarding the eyebrows, including brow growing, maintaining, and perfecting stages. As well as this, she provides skin and make-up advice to clients on a 1-on-1 learning basis. As a self-employed and self-motivated brow therapist, Ashnay understands the power that perfectly strong brows can carry, and she also knows that listening to her clients is key. “Being able to spend a lot of personal time with clients when growing and conversing about brows, I am able to understand what a client truly wants and needs when it comes to personal beauty,” elaborates Ashnay, explaining how she connects with her clients to find out what they truly desire. “Everyone wants them perfect and talking to my clients about the current shape of their brows, as well as their brow history, plus analysing their facial features and structure, helps me to determine the most ideal shape for them to work towards.” The healing and growing part, she continues, is the most crucial and painful part of the entire process and this is where the ‘therapy’ side of things kicks in. Providing the right aftercare, make-up techniques, encouragement and also a safe space for her clients to share their feelings of the process at hand, ensures she reaches the end goal and can ultimately provide her client with strong, confident brows. “Each clients’ face and brow is different due to our genetical make-up, especially when it comes to skin repair and hair growth cycle, texture and structure. Listening to each client carefully, during each session, I can personally tailor their plans on how to provide the best possible advice to each personal as an individual.” Ashnay decided to grab the opportunity as it presented itself and launch her mobile business alongside her clinic, allowing for more flexibility for both herself and for clients who are unable to get out and to the salon. Recently, Ashnay was delighted to be recognised by the Health Beauty and Wellness Awards 2023 and her salon was named Eyebrow Salon of the Year 2023 – Sydney. Now, as she looks to a bright and lucrative future, Ashnay plans to extend her offering to incorporate nano-tattooing, as well as advice on skin care routines, and hair and make-up services for weddings too. “With spending many years of perfecting brows to the eyes of the beholder, it has given me perspective to provide more,” she reflects. “I’d like to create more personalised services for individual clients to best achieve their ideal beauty look.
