www.lux-review.com Page 23 LUX 2020 Health, Beauty & Wellness Awards Fraxin CORP offer plant based, cruelty free, vegan-friendly & halal compliant alternatives to traditional Botulinum Toxin (Botox) and dermal fillers. To start, Samarinder offers more insight into some of the firm’s specialisms and its typical client base. “Everybody else in our market offer products that are tested on animals and are synthetically created. On the other hand, our products deliver the same results as our competitors, just without killing five million mice a year or contributing massive amounts of CO2 output. Typically, our clients are aesthetics clinics run by medical professionals or highly experienced non-medics and with all we aim to provide vegan-friendly facial products, which will make a difference to their patient’s facial skin conditions.” In the UK market, Fraxin face regular competition from some of the most established players in the health, beauty, and wellness sector. However, as Samarinder goes on to explain, the firm’s range of cruelty-free facial products is what truly helps them distinguish themselves from their closest competitors. “Our fundamental difference is that we offer a suite of products that are plant- based (vegan). The majority of our competitors offer synthetically created products that are tested on animals.” Committed to its clients, the firm always aim to provide the best possible service to its clients, but as Samarinder points out, they are reliant on external partners elsewhere to handle some of their processes. “Outside of our supply chain management and manufacturing, most of our processes are handled by our distribution partners. These partners are carefully chosen with our end user in mind. To ensure each of these are held accordingly for their actions, they are vetted monthly based on their CSR responses.” Although the firm are keen to recruit the best available talent to assist them with its manufacturing operations, as Samarinder points out, potential employees must also hold an interest in the vegan skincare market if there are to be a success. Fraxin CORP is a leading plant- based facial products manufacturer serving clients across the UK. Following on from the firm’s success in the Health, Beauty & Wellness Awards 2020, we got in touch with Samarinder Dilmar to find out more. Fraxin CORP Best Plant-Based Facial Products Manufacturer - UK “Essentially, we are a start-up, just with large-scale manufacturing operations. But in regards to our recruitment, we hire people who subscribe to our disruptor policy and have more than a passing interest in cruelty free products and plant-based alternatives. Holding a keen interest in the vegan skincare market will hold our staff in good stead and hopefully inspire them to develop the most effective plant-based facial products.” Currently in the wider health, beauty, and wellness sector, there continues to be a major debate about “medics vs non-medics”, and as Samarinder goes on to explain, the firm are committed to supporting non-medics in whatever way they can. “We want to support all of our practitioner partners and as such are big supporters of organisations that independently vet training to ensure that all are trained to the highest standard. There might come a time when the government decides to outlaw practitioners administering medical devices, however our classification as a herbal remedy would allow non-medics to continue to practice.” Finally, Samarinder comments on the future of Fraxin and offers us his thoughts on Fraxin being awarded as Best Plant-Based Facial Products Manufacturer – UK. “We are of course delighted to have won this award. Entering an oligopolistic market with an entirely new product has brought many challenges and the award represents the hard work of our employees in overcoming these challenges. “At present, our two biggest goals are to build our own hydroponics centre to manage our supply chain end to end but also enable us to continue our R&D into alternative medicine. Additionally, we will continue to lobby the NHS and PHE to allow our products to be accepted within mainstream medicine. At present, we cannot be used as we refuse to test on animals, but we will keep pushing!” Company Name: Fraxin CORP Contact Name: Samarinder Dilmar Web Address: www.fraxincorp.com
