Realising the potential of this device when coupled with high quality solutions and botulinum toxin, I set about developing highly effective protocols to improve many of the common skin conditions we see in the industry today. Many of the conditions which are difficult to be improved with topical skincare alone, such as rosacea and excessive oily skin. I had a real opportunity to bring something very special to the market.” WOW facial® has a team of eleven, with each member having clearly defined roles, but working towards one common goal of offering fantastic service to clients and ultimately growing the overall business. Claire has developed a culture within the business where everybody has their own job to do but they all work together to achieve the goals; an all-inclusive culture where everybody in the business is really approachable. The client is key, but so are the staff. The company employs people who have different skills to those that are already in the business and it prides itself on understanding exactly what the business needs in order to continue offering great service to customers and support the expanding infrastructure. Each employee must have the necessary experience, skills and the ability to satisfy the business’ needs. However, personality, attitude and how they fit into WOW facial®’s unique culture is the most important attribute. The close-knit team strives to have and feel that it accomplishes good working relationships with its clients. WOW facial® has a closed Facebook group which has become its community to connect with its clients and it’s a place for members to have discussions with each other. The team are happy to support when necessary, with any queries our customers may have, whether it be by phone, email or online support such as refresher training or online ordering system. It also sends out regular newsletters with marketing and social media packs so clients always have content to help market WOW facial® and WOW fusion®, and it works with them to ensure they are comfortable in promoting these products. Additionally, the company will work on individual campaigns with customers should they need assistance. Meanwhile, COVID-19 had a huge financial impact with clinics and salons being closed down for 10 months out of 12. However, its turnover remained the same as the previous year, due to it being able to diversify and online training and WOW@HOME kits, designed to support clients in ensuring their skin remained in tiptop condition until they could return to salons and clinics again; and its hero product, Synergy 6 NXGEN SPF 50. The pandemic gave the team time to work on regulatory issues, develop a strong ongoing strategy and put more time into product development, marketing and improving the brand look and feel. WOW facial® is emerging from the pandemic a stronger and more strategic business with a good platform and infrastructure in place for global growth. In addition to this, it employed eight new staff members to ensure a solid business post-pandemic. Throughout the rest of 2021, WOW facial® will be supporting its partners who have suffered due to COVID-19 in rebuilding their businesses. It will also be launching its skincare range, Intradermology which was scheduled to be launched in 2020 but was placed on hold. Improvements will be made to the full WOW facial® system to develop the hyper-personalisation even further, and the WOW fusion® device is going through huge regulatory changes and a small cosmetic redesign to improve it. Once the regulatory element of the WOW fusion® device is finalised, the company will be able to commercialise it on a more international level.
