24 Mar21632 Conscious Thinking Beauty The Blended Beauty Co. is an award-winning and leading non-toxic, waterless skincare company based in Australia, which is aiming to bring truth back to beauty and provide safe products to help women feel confident in their own skin, including balms, face and body oils, cleansers, exfoliators, make-up removers, serums and blended teas. The Blended Beauty Co.’s client base mainly consists of women aged 35-65 who are conscious, looking for a safer option in skincare and believe in natural preservation. With the company’s beliefs backed up by “trends” in skincare and researching ingredients, it uses raw and unrefined natural materials which have incredible healing properties and no compromise on the client’s health or the planet. A small business at this stage, The Blended Beauty Co. was founded and is owned by Debbie Murada. Her husband, Des is a tech guru who runs the company website and deals with any technical issues, while Antoinette, the company’s vibe manager has a lead role in all facets of office management, administration and social media. Debbie feels extremely lucky to have such amazing help and people who believe in her. Debbie’s area of expertise is research, formulating and hand-blending of products, with devotion to bringing her clients the purest of skincare. She has embarked on a journey of educating herself in lipids and natural skincare formulation and has realised just how many disguised and unnecessary preservatives there actually are in existing skincare products. The Blended Beauty Co.’s roots stem from Debbie teaching her young girls the fundamentals of living a happy and full life. In a world where social media is constantly suggesting that you should look a certain way in order to be beautiful, she was concerned that those fundamentals weren’t enough. Debbie needs her girls to know that beauty is about so much more and that their natural beauty is enough! She is now on a mission with The Blended Beauty Co. to encourage self-love and make women of all ages feel youthful and beautiful just the way they are. Beauty takes many forms, so it’s not just the exterior which needs to be considered, but also the inner being, and it is therefore important that people are mindful of what their bodies absorb. With this, The Blended Beauty Co.’s blended tea collection was created with internal health in mind. Each environmentally-conscious tea blend consists of all-natural ingredients and is named after a book by Debbie’s favourite author, Amelia Hutchins, with inspiration taken from her paranormal tone, creating a flavourful line of teas. Client commitment to The Blended Beauty Co.’s products empowers its continued pursuit to excellence, and the next thing clients can look forward to is the upcoming additions to the company’s existing Inspired Blends range of cleansers, exfoliators and night serum. In addition to this, The Blended Beauty Co. has been collaborating with some fantastic businesses who are also trying to spread the message that “we are enough”. In terms of other projects on the horizon, Debbie would love to get involved in some teen/tween confidence building. Raising two young girls aged 7 and 10 in a world that is very fake is scary; sharing a message of self-love at an early age and knowing they are enough before it is too hard to believe is a major goal of hers. Ultimately, The Blended Beauty Co. loves a clean beauty movement. The beauty market has exploded, and the company’s policy transparency and ingredients composition are constantly improving, thus continually moving closer towards the true definition of beauty.
