We took a closer look at the company below, following its recent recognition in the Hospitality Awards 2025. Best Sailing Holidays Company 2025 – Greece The company offers a wide range of sailing experiences to its clients, from supported flotilla sailing across Greece, independent bareboat sailing, sailing on the leadboat for those unable to sail themselves, or the rental of a sailboat with a skipper or instructor for a guided, educational experience. Sunny Sailing maintains an advanced fleet of 14 Bavaria yachts and two Dufours, ranging from 31 to 47 feet. Each yacht in this fleet is well maintained to ensure optimum levels of safety and enjoyment across each trip, and adjustments are made in alignment with evolving regulations, industry advancements, and guest requests. This fleet is overseen by a dedicated team, whose passion for sailing has driven Sunny Sailing to new heights of success. As Owners and Managers, Pim and Joyce remain onsite throughout the season, and serve as the point of contact for all queries and concerns. Each of Sunny Sailing’s skippers and flotilla leaders are Dutch-speaking and possess vast experience in Grecian sailing, many of whom have completed a number of sailing seasons with the company. Following a successful 2025 season, Sunny Sailing is approaching 2026 with ambition and innovation. The company enjoys a frontrunning industry position, maintained through continual refinement and advancement in alignment with guest feedback. Such additions underpin Sunny Sailing’s ongoing mission to deliver unforgettable sailing experiences, earning it the well-deserved title of Greece’s Best Sailing Holidays Company 2025. Contact: Pim Bastiaansen Company: Sunny Sailing Greece Web Address: www.sunnysailing.com unny Sailing Greece was taken over by Pim Bastiaanssen and Joyce Corbée in 2018, a lifechanging decision that was born from the pair’s longstanding love for their craft. Before embarking on this journey, the pair were avid sailors living in the Netherlands who had become frustrated with the bad weather they commonly experienced when trying to sail. After a number of transformative trips to Greece, both Joyce and Pim knew that something needed to change. These vacations were certainly a welcome break from their lives back in the Netherlands, but they were also incredibly costly and left the pair penniless upon their return home. This realisation sparked a complete change to the course of both Pim and Joyce’s lives, leading the pair to leave behind their life in the Netherlands and settle in Greece. They worked for a number of years before becoming Co-Owners of a sailing company based in Corfu, but their lives truly transformed in 2018 with the acquisition of Sunny Sailing in Lefkada. Today, Sunny Sailing leverages extensive experience on the Greek seas to offer carefree sailing vacations from guests around the world. Each journey begins at the company’s homebase of Sivota, a beautiful fishing village on the island of Lefkada. The village’s bay offers sailors a safe shelter for their fleet, as well as a number of exceptional taverns and restaurants for travellers. From Sivota, guests can explore the Ionian Sea, located to the west of Greece. The Ionian Sea is ideal for those sailing abroad for the first time, with calm water and predictable winds that make for seamless travel in any direction. Here, guests can sail for either one or two weeks, following one of Sunny Sailing’s standard routes and sailing approximately five to 15 nautical miles each day. S AIM-Aug25208
