New Year 2020
LUXLIFE MAGAZINE | 29 New Year 2020 Isle residence highlights the firm’s artistry, awareness and collaboration with interior design, then the SBMNH project truly showcases its ingenuity and innovation. Exhibits at SBMNH now boast a lighting and controls system that allows for complete flexibility, tuneable color, and scalability without the need to overhaul the system entirely. The results are exceptional, bringing to life exhibits that house artefacts that are more than a century old. The museum features lighting design that brings history to life through carefully considered and vibrant colour choices. The dioramas of oceans are complemented with subtle sapphire blue lighting, while the representations of mountains are given a sunlit appearance through warm, amber-toned lighting. Vince and his team at LFA continue to push boundaries and deliver lighting solutions that far exceed any expectations. One of the keywords currently used within the lighting design industry and indeed the wider energy industry as a whole is sustainability. Since the late 1970s, the California Building Standards Code has sought to reduce the state’s energy consumption through stringent energy usage codes. Vince and his team always try to adhere to those standards on every project, from California to Qatar. Using sleek designs and functional innovation, the team at LFA continue to deliver sophisticated lighting solutions while also ensuring that they leave behind the smallest possible carbon footprint. Truly a beacon of exceptional lighting design to the interior and exterior design worlds, LFA continues to set the gold standard for firms in California and beyond. For Vince and his team, the work never stops. As the winter months close in, the days get darker and the nights get longer, LFA reminds us that every environment can be made to shine brighter.
