Speaking about his team, General Manager, Jean Christophe Buillet said, “Their happiness and kindness towards guests is what makes or breaks a great experience for a visitor. When I’m looking for new employees, the most important qualities I look for are kindness, friendliness, and a willingness to learn. Most of our best employees have had no experience in the job that they applied for, but are just wonderful people with a desire to do a great job.” Internally, the culture is familial. The staff eat together every day, help each other out to do a great job, and any person will jump into any job if there is a need that comes up. This makes it noticeable to the guest that everyone is working together to give them a great experience and that everyone has a great relationship with each other. Meanwhile, over the past year, the hotel has seen its challenges in the form of staff shortages. Jean said, “There are thousands of jobs available in our town to this day and hiring new people is still a challenge for many.
