I am a qualified gas, refrigeration, mechanical, and pneumatic engineer and have owned several companies. In November 2023, I semi-retired to move to the kennels.” The kennels are fully run by the family, with Tina Williams running the administration and her sons helping with the business’s daily operations. Their son, Bruin, has always had an affinity for animals and attended college to gain his Level 2 qualification in Animal Management. During the pandemic, Bruin’s studies were delayed, but he continued to work at the kennels to support the family business. Vito, their second son, also works in the business and is Bryan’s maintenance partner. Vito previously attended college for woodworking and electrical installation, and he is currently working to gain qualifications in the maintenance industry. Upon purchasing the business, the family immediately upgraded the heating system to include air conditioning to cool the kennel blocks. All the blocks can now be heated and cooled with a thermostatically controlled heater that is triggered at a specific temperature. The owners also prioritised replacing the fencing and have cut the treetops around the property to safeguard the dogs.
