This experience led Mari to get involved with her local hospital where she was publicly elected as a Patient Governor for two years with a particular focus on the services of the neonatal department and sharing her experience with BLISS the charity. From here Mari decided that her passion was making babies as comfortable, safe and nurtured as possible. She began to study the properties of natural materials and the benefits to babies and discovered the magnificence of Merino wool in particular.
