Parent and Baby Awards 2025 Best Trauma-Informed Child Protection Service Provider 2025 Having spent more than a decade working as a social innovation pioneer, Safe Children has come to be recognised as a leading entity in protecting children and adolescents from violence, abuse, and neglect. The organisation specialises in healing individual and intergenerational trauma in those families with high-risk or complex family structures – educating and empowering across its trauma-focused and solution-focused approaches. Founder Rikke Ludvigsen was on hand to tell us more. Guided by a belief in the power of prevention, healing, and transformation, Safe Children strives to create safer environments for children around the world, affording them the tools they need to grow up safe, resilient, and whole – even after battling trauma and adversity. Millions of children fall into this group, and rarely do they get the help they need. Rikke Ludvigsen established Safe Children in 2012 to support vulnerable children, train professionals and help in the prevention of stress, burnout, and compassion fatigue in professionals working with traumatised children and families. “Safe Children has been driven by the ambition of continuously developing new, better, and more sustainable solutions to support children at risk and their families”, explained Rikke. “We do this by using a methodology merging social work, trauma treatment and neurobiology in unique and transformative ways.” Such alignment results in tailored interventions built around collaboration, establishing a sense of belonging for the child whilst also delivering innovative solutions rooted in trauma-informed safety planning to prevent violence, child abuse, and neglect. One example of this is the ‘Circle of Safety and Reconnection’ model employed by Safe Children, with this compassionate reflections approach providing the basis of the 1-year Certified Trauma-Informed Family Therapist training Safe Children delivers. This is also the subject of a book penned by Rikke herself: ‘A Professional’s Guide to Working with Vulnerable and Traumatised Children – The Healing Circle’. Central to Safe Children’s success is Rikke’s more than 20 years of experience working with at-risk children. The expertise she possesses has seen Rikke develop unique methods based on a combination of safety planning and trauma healing, uniting these areas under the umbrella of her organisation’s lived motto: ‘Remember… there is hope for healing.” This has been chosen as many of those she and her partners work with have previously been given up on by other professionals, an action Safe Children will not repeat. On the back of her knowledge, Rikke has also developed a special trauma-healing model, namely the ‘Reconnect Trauma Release System’. As gentle as it is effective, this method works by reconnecting a traumaaffected person with their body, mind, and spirit, embodying the organisation’s overarching belief that safe children are happy children. “When people have lost their own hope, we lend them ours so we can become a vicarious hope for healing – showing them a way through the darkness.” The approaches mentioned above have resulted in the training and supervision of more than 1,000 professionals in the field of child protection over the last 13 years by Safe Children, a number it is looking to increase through the provision of online courses, workshops, retreats, and tailored programmes for organisations surrounding the topic. This is also supported by Rikkes new social enterprise Resilious, Co-founded with 2 partners. All of these initiatives are more important than ever in today’s world, as the online sphere is only exacerbating mental health issues and abuse in children and young people. To combat this, Rikke shared that Safe Children is developing new project ideas to better support young people and parents alike, including a plan to transform the content on its online platform, Safe Children Academy, into programmes for children and adults. This is just one of the ways Rikke is hoping to take Safe Children international, her efforts in which began with the publishing of her aforementioned book last year. Ready to share Safe Children’s work and message of hope and healing with the world, this October will see Rikke present her models at a conference in Shanghai, in addition to running a workshop at the European Social Work Conference in Oslo that very same month. With Rikke working tirelessly towards these award-winning services, all that is left is to call for adults across countries, generations, and backgrounds to influence and support children and young people in any way they can, helping them to feel safe, protected, and valued. This may starts with Safe Children, but Rikke cannot do it alone. More information about the organisation’s work can be found at the link below. 6 | LUXlife Magazine he story of Vital Moms dates back to 2014, when Sanne Knijn was pregnant with her first child. During her pregnancy, Sanne developed pelvic instability, which was incredibly painful and made it difficult to perform basic tasks such as walking, lifting things, and even getting out of bed in the morning. After consulting with her midwife, friends, and work colleagues alike, Sanne was told there was essentially nothing she could do – she had to wait it out. Hopefully, they said, it would start to get better after she had given birth. Not willing to settle for this rudimentary advice, Sanne took matters into her own hands, researching on PubMed (a biomedical literature database with more than 35 million citations), eventually stumbling across a paper concerning specific nutrient deficiency in pregnant women with pelvic instability. After taking the nutrients mentioned in the study, Sanne was delighted to find that she was able to do things like normal just a week later, quickly solving an issue deemed ‘incurable’ by those around her. If this was the case for her, Sanne wondered just how many women were going through the same thing: given inadequate and inaccurate advice that was impacting the health of not only themselves but also their babies. After all, Sanne was very healthy, eating the right things and taking the multivitamins recommended to her. However, this did little to stop her developing a deficiency that was almost immobilising. It is unsurprising then that this lit a fire within Sanne to ensure other pregnant women did not suffer the same fate. Sanne was working as a manager in a hotel at the time but quickly retrained once she was able and back on her feet, tackling some of the most common issues of pregnancy with a sense of rigour that can only come from having experience them herself. For example, many pregnant women often have pregnancy-related complaints and cravings, which have come to be accepted as ‘normal’. But Sanne knew that the right nutrition could make the body healthy again, stop cravings and help to reduce these complaints. If it worked so well for pelvic instability, imagine what it could do for other pregnancy-related complaints. “I spent years doing research and concluded that all pregnancy complaints can be prevented and reduced with nutrition and lifestyle. In my online course, ‘Powerful Pregnancy’, I offer advice for each pregnancy complaint.” Best Pregnant Women Complementary Healthcare Provider 2025 – Benelux Pregnancy is a time of great change in a woman’s life, a time where many questions arise – some of which feel unanswerable. Alongside these questions is a wealth of challenge and opportunity, all of which can make the experience occasionally feel overwhelming. Having been through this herself, Sanne Knijn from the Netherlands established Vital Moms, an organisation designed to help women prepare for and confidently face motherhood. We caught up with Sanne for more on the deeply personal events that led to her creating this internationally recognised brand. Taking both the research she did for her own condition and that of nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle more broadly, Sanne decided to compile the summaries she had written into a book, published in 2017. This formed the basis of Vital Moms, and its content has since been expanded through both a series of online programmes within the Vital Moms Academy and a comprehensive nutrition plan. Today, many of the midwives who initially could not help Sanne recommend her method, which has proven to be highly effective. “The book is theoretical”, explained Sanne, “but described in a simple way, so that everyone (even those without knowledge of nutrition) can understand it. You can read the book from front to back, but if you don’t want to this, you can also use it as a manual and always look things up to see what the body wants to tell you with complaints and cravings.” She added: “For those who want, there is also a matching nutrition plan, so the pregnant woman can cook healthy in a simple way with no less than 140 pregnancy-safe recipes.” Despite approximately 90% of women experiencing pregnancy-related symptoms, Vital Moms’ approach not only caters to them – it is suitable for all pregnant women in search of healthy development for their baby and to prevent any issues arising for themselves. As Sanne told us: “I help pregnant women and midwives reduce or prevent pregnancy-related complaints through holistic, science-based nutrition and lifestyle guidance, aiming for a more natural, empowered, and less medicalised pregnancy and birth experience.” Vital Moms’ method is totally natural from the ground up: natural nutrition, natural supplementation, natural lifestyle, and a natural mindset. It is the commitment Sanne has to this foundation that has seen her build something that is continuing to serve the needs of women in an environment that is constantly changing. Nothing is set in stone in the world of nutrition, with new research and findings being published all the time. Sanne accounts for this by continuing her research and introducing new elements into her offering. Excitingly, Sanne is currently working on her second publication, which will cover research in new areas such as maternal health, postpartum, and pregnancy recovery, as well as many of the trends that have defined this space in the eight years since her last book. Touching on these shifts, Sanne commented: “In the broader market, there’s a growing T

Parent and Baby Awards 2025 | 7 awareness of the impact nutrition, mental health, and lifestyle can all have on pregnancy, the development of the baby in the womb, and even the young family after birth.” To appease this, Vital Moms is carrying out initiatives such as offering supplementary support within existing midwife care, whereby it is blending its evidence-based nutritional advice with mindfulness and coaching tailored towards the needs of pregnant women. The brand positioning itself within additional, complementary care sees it meet the diverse needs of both parents and professionals alike – across pregnancy, birth, and beyond. “Our programmes and books focus on naturally reducing pregnancy-related symptoms to help you experience a more positive and empowered pregnancy. I also focus on training healthcare professionals, such as midwives, so they can provide more comprehensive care that meets these changing needs.” As more people seek her out for these services, Sanne tells us that she has big plans in place for the rest of 2025 and beyond, including having her first book translated into English so that more women can access holistic pregnancy and care and learn how to reduce pregnancy symptoms naturally. Outside of a second book, mentioned above, the brand is also planning to expand the Vital Moms Academy to include some empowering new courses, including one entitled ‘Baby’s First Foods’. “Also, I feel an enormous motivation from within to improve our maternity care” Sanne said. “It is therefore my dream that more midwives hear about my method, so that they can better guide t pregnant women in nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle. One example includes bucking the trend of recommending folic acid for pregnant women, as this synthetic nutrient often causes damage as a result of the MTHFR gene defect. Essentially, this means the synthetic folic acid is not converted by the liver and causes damage. Exploring this further, Sanne shared: “In the orthomolecular world we now know this, and scientific research has also been done on this subject. I also wrote about this extensively in my book and I explain it in my course. There is a simple solution: choose folate, the biologically active form of folic acid. But unfortunately, midwives in training are still told to recommend folic acid.” This is just one example, underpinning the importance of Sanne working with midwives in training to share her research and findings. Ultimately, Sanne’s overall message is that pregnancy complaints are now seen as normal – but with medical interventions and medical deliveries in hospitals rising, there is clearly something fundamentally wrong with the advice that the pregnant woman of today is receiving from those around her. More and more midwives have been sounding the alarm of late, but many are still unaware of the solution: the power of nutrition. Pregnant women under Sanne’s direct guidance – or those using her book or online course – have been shown to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions, stop taking medication for nausea and other such symptoms, and not have to use a wheelchair as a result of the same pain Sanne experienced herself. With plans to take this beyond the Benelux region and make her pregnancy nutrition advice, pregnancy lifestyle and mindset guidance, and empowering pregnancy coaching available worldwide, the sky is the limit for Sanne. Recognised as the Best Pregnant Women Complementary Healthcare Provider 2025 – Benelux for the transformative impact Vital Moms has had in the lives of pregnant women and healthcare professionals across the Netherlands, Belgium, and beyond, Sanne Knijn’s ability to answer the questions and concerns previously thought impossible is ushering in a new era of holistic pregnancy care. For this, she is more than fitting of being recognised in our Parent and Baby Awards 2025. Contact: Sanne Knijn Company: Vital Moms Web Address: https://vitalmoms.nl/

8 | LUXlife Magazine Best Baby Equipment Rental Service 2025 – South West England Convenience is gold-dust for parents, who are often being pulled from all directions on a daily basis which can result in favouring convenience at cost to quality. This is especially true when on the go – with the standards of amenities varying significantly across locations, many parents find themselves wishing that they had brought their own equipment with them. Enter BabyEase, a rising company providing parents with high quality baby equipment rentals as and when required, making travels, trips, and visits stress-free. Join us below as we caught up with Founder Kelly-Ann Davey-Ward, as BabyEase is named in the Parent and Baby Awards 2025. “Great baby gear, just when you need it.” Based in South Cerney, the heart of the Cotswold Lakes, BabyEase is a parent-run business dedicated to providing parents with everything they need, just when they need it. The business is owned and operated by Kelly-Ann and Samuel, entrepreneurial couple and proud parents to twin girls. The idea for BabyEase was born from the Davey-Ward family’s first adventure, involving traveling with their threemonth-old twins across two nights, two hotels, and an overwhelming amount of baby gear. Once at the hotel, the real challenge began. The hotel cots were unstable, unhygienic, and unusable – forcing the parents to improvise. Between the cots’ low quality and complete lack of hygiene, Kelly-Ann and Samuel knew they had an anxious night ahead of them. It was at this moment that they realised there had to be a better way for families to travel. Thus, BabyEase was born, with the aim of making traveling easier, safer, and stress-free for families travelling with their little ones. Today, the pair run BabyEase with a promise to never rent out a product they would not use with their own girls. The business offers a wide range of equipment and accessories to support all parenting needs, including booster seats, strollers, bath seats, changing mats, cots, highchairs, baby monitors, walkers, sterilisers, playpens and stairgates, and travel bags. Catering to families and trips of all sizes, BabyEase partners with some of the most trusted and premium names in baby gear, including Stokke, Joolz, Bugaboo, and more. “We are more than just a business; we are a family helping other families,” Kelly-Ann told us. “Whether you are heading off on a holiday, welcoming guests, or navigating the everyday challenges of parenthood, we are here to make life that little bit easier.” The rental process is expertly designed to be as seamless and stress-free as possible, delivered through a user-friendly website that allows parents to browse through an extensive selection of high quality baby gear. Once ordered, the selected items will arrive clean, safe, and ready to go, either delivered directly to their door or waiting at their destination. Once the rental is complete, parents package the items as they arrived and utilise BabyEase’s pre-paid postage labels or collection services for a completely hassle-free return. At BabyEase, quality and convenience are held in the same high regard as sustainability and hygiene. The business believes in caring for the planet while making family life easier and ensures that its services not only reflect but promote this ethos. Instead of buying new equipment that will only be used for a short time, BabyEase enables parents across the country to rent high quality, well-maintained items while reducing overproduction and minimising environmental footprint through shared resources. At its core, BabyEase is a forward-thinking company that has successfully met the evolving needs of travelling parents with a blend of convenience and sustainability that has not yet been achieved. The business stands out in the market as an entity that understands precisely what parents needs and delivers exactly when they need it. It is for this standout service that BabyEase shines as South West England’s Best Baby Equipment Rental Service 2025, an accolade supported by a number of glowing testimonials. One parent wrote: “After being recommended by a friend, I hired a travel stroller for our holiday. The hire cost was reasonable compared to other companies, and the stroller was in fantastic condition – appearing practically brand new – and even arrived early. It was easy to return by post, and customer service was excellent. It was all so straight-forward that I hired from BabyEase again for our next holiday!” While another reported: “I recently rented the Joolz AER+ pushchair from BabyEase and couldn’t be more satisfied. BabyEase made the rental process seamless, with outstanding customer service, prompt delivery, and effortless returns. The pushchair arrived in pristine condition, and their friendly, knowledgeable staff were always ready to help. I highly recommend BabyEase for quality baby gear rentals; their excellent service made our month so much easier.” Contact: Kelly-Ann Davey-Ward Company: BabyEase Web Address: www.babyease.co.uk

10 | LUXlife Magazine When expanding the team, the company prioritises candidates who genuinely care, think on their feet, and treat every customer like family. “We also look for self-starters,” Karen added. “People who are comfortable building as they go, since we are constantly evolving. Our onboarding includes not just the ‘how’ but the ‘why’, so that every decision we make as a team circles right back to the families we serve.” An integral element of Tweetycam’s ongoing progression is monitoring the market for emerging trends and shifts, ensuring that the team can continue to address evolving needs. At present, the company is gearing up to launch a new model shaped entirely by what parents have been reported to desire in a baby monitor: easier setup, enhanced usability, and a way to boost the existing limitations of Bluetooth monitoring. Alongside this, Tweetycam is looking beyond the shores of Australia. The company has noted rising interest from international customers and is now seeking to explore avenues to scale globally whilst keeping its renowned customer-first values intact – values that have earned Tweetycam the title of Australia’s Most Trusted Baby Monitor Brand 2025. “In 2025, we’re investing in smarter operations,” Karen shared. “We’re building scalable systems and automating routine processes so our team can stay focused on hands-on care. We are also aiming to double our revenue, and with that grow our returning customer base and launch new products and accessories that bring more value to families. But at the heart of it all? We’re still the same. We aim to continue helping parents feel confident, calm, and supported.” Contact: Karen Mitault Company: Tweetycam PTY LTD Web Address: www.tweetycam.com.au weetycam is an Australian-owned brand on a mission to make everyday parenting simpler, safer, and more connected. Striving to remove the common stresses that come with modern parenting, the company specialises in reliable, Wi-Fi-free monitoring systems that work straight out of the box – no downloads, no app juggling, and no headaches. This product is designed to serve parents, carers, and growing families seeking peace of mind without compromise to their privacy. The company was founded in 2023 by Karen Mitault, a mother and former UI-designer who had struggled to make sense of the technological noise surrounding her newborn days. Overwhelmed by choice and frustrated by complexities, Karen decided to reengineer her own baby monitor with tailored specifications and high quality components. With loving support from both her husband and her brother, Karen quickly transformed an athome side-hustle into a trusted name in parenting. Tweetycam was designed to support Karen’s busy lifestyle, allowing her to juggle pets, tenants, full-time work, and side businesses. She built the product around her own needs as a parent, with features that include a long battery life, the ability to integrate more cameras as the family grows, a secure system that does not operate on Wi-Fi, and the technology that would allow parents to continue with their day whilst their baby sleeps. This parent-first approach is reflected in every aspect of Tweetycam, from the way it designs its products to the way it interacts with clients. “TweetyCam isn’t a typical tech company; we are a team of parents who understand the vulnerability of those early days, and who show up with real support,” Karen explained. “Our philosophy is ‘real support for real families.’ That means fast replies, flexible policies, and actual, fast-acting human support when things go wrong.” As parents, Tweetycam recognises that its clients require quick solutions to their problems, not lengthy processes and disjointed communications. The company offers consistent over-the-phone tech support and sends replacements before asking for returns. This has enabled Tweetycam to maintain a refund rate of under 3% and a 24% return customer rate, boasting a 4.9-star average across more than 1,000 reviews and winning the Product Review Award for Best Baby Monitor in 2024 and 2025. This year, Tweetycam has been awarded the Customer Service Excellence Award 2025 in the Parent and Baby Awards, an accolade that would not have been made possible without its people. Parent and Baby Awards 2025 Best Wooden & Traditional Toy Retailer 2025 – APAC Toys play a crucial role in a child’s development, sparking their imagination and laying the fundamental foundation for their cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills. Many parents around the world, however, do not pause to consider the quality of the toys they give their children – how they are made, what values they reflect, or whether they are built to last beyond a single season of play. Blossom Tree Toys is an Australian retailer seeking to reframe how families think about play, offering thoughtfully crafted, heirloom-quality toys that prioritise sustainability, durability, and meaningful connection. We took a closer look at Blossom Tree Toys below, as it is named in the Parent and Baby Awards 2025. Based in Mount Hawthorn, Perth, Western Australia, Blossom Tree Toys is an awardwinning retailer of toys, puzzles, and games inspired by old-fashioned fun. The business was founded by Debbie Pollard, a forwardthinking individual whose passion for all things wood was first ignited in childhood. Growing up in England, Debbie grew an appreciation for wood and traditional toys from an early age and as a result, a love that would go on to shape the course of her life. In 2005, Debbie and her husband moved to Australia, and were blessed with a baby in 2013. With a newborn, Debbie quickly realised that the quality of toys that she remembered from her childhood were no longer so easily available. and she set out to find what she calls the “memory makers” – the well-made toys that are designed to last a lifetime, and can be passed down and loved by future generations. This search resulted in the birth of Blossom Tree Toys, a business built by Debbie with the aim of offering classic toys, puzzles, and games that provide endless hours of fun and entertainment, and a lifetime of memories. Now, Blossom Tree Toys is on a mission to source beautiful traditional toys and meet the needs of the youngest through to the oldest members of its community. The business has been built around a philosophy to identify and stock environmentally friendly and sustainable product options that are made using sustainable forestry, organic, or recycled materials and ethical manufacturing practices. Blossom Tree Toys upholds this commitment beyond its product range, by also ensuring sustainable practices are used throughout its operations. Blossom Tree Toys offers an extensive range of traditional “old-school” style toys, made to last a child’s lifetime and bring back nostalgic memories for parents, as well as early learning toys designed to facilitate a child’s development. From wooden toys and building blocks to crafts and science kits to an extensive collection of books and cozy baby comforters, this retailer caters to a wide variety of ages, interests, and developmental stages. From the whimsical plush creations of Jellycat, and traditional favourites from Kaloo and Steiff to the artisan made dolls by Llorens, and the heirloom-quality wooden playthings from Janod, each brand reflects a commitment to meaningful play. Its shelves also feature Brio’s classic train sets, Baghera’s retro ride-ons, HABA and Hess-Speilzeug’s ecoconscious educational toys, Sozo’s recycledmaterial craft kits, and Orchard Toys’ engaging learning games. Together, these names form a collection that resists disposable trends, inviting families to choose toys that are built to last and designed to matter. Named APAC’s Best Wooden and Traditional Toy Retailer 2025, Blossom Tree Toys has firmly cemented its position as the community’s go-to retailer for traditional, sustainable toys that spark the imagination and promote well-rounded development. Its success is reflected in the glowing testimonials left by its clientele, who praise Blossom Tree Toys for its exceptional service, beautifully curated selection, and unwavering commitment to quality – proof that thoughtful play is not only possible but deeply appreciated. One patron reported: “I highly recommend Blossom Tree Toys in Mount Hawthorn. Every toy is high quality and carefully selected. You will find beautiful toys for newborns right up to pre-teens. Great service to boot!” While another said: “Blossom Tree Toys has all the wooden and open-ended play toys you could dream for! Amazing stock and service. 12 | LUXlife Magazine Most Innovative Babywear Brand 2025 – UK The original magnetic clothing company, Magnet Mouse London Ltd solved a problem every parent or anyone who has ever dressed a baby has experienced: buttons that fall off or are too fiddly to fasten, poppers that will not line up, or zippers that get stuck. It has done this thanks to its IP, magnet-fastening baby clothes that are as classy as they are comfortable. With the brand being celebrated here, we caught up with the visionary Mouse Allen for more on her timeless babywear with a twist. When it comes to babies, everything moves so fast. Rather than having to waste time or test patience on fiddly fastenings, Magnet Mouse allows more time for cuddles by removing the notorious hassle of dressing a baby. In a world where quick and easy often means cheap and poor quality, the company bucks the trend by offering a line of products made in the UK from 100% cotton – even down to the tiny magnetic fastenings, themselves hidden away in super-soft cotton for both comfort and aesthetic purposes. Not only does this magnetic baby clothing make getting dressed much easier, but it is also a lifeline for parents, grandparents, and caregivers suffering with issues regarding their mobility or manual dexterity. Recognising the importance of its products for those living with these difficulties, Magnet Mouse has partnered with a number of NHS trusts to provide discounts on its products to affected mothers and fathers. The unique designs offered by Magnet Mouse are the product of Mouse Allen – the company director – conducting several years of research into everything from crafting techniques and marketing, as well as drinking lots of tea. Thanks to this, the brand today has its bespoke sewing machines which it uses to attach the magnets to its distinctly British styles. All of this is done at home in England, allowing the brand to manage everything from its manufacturing to its suppliers with maximum effectiveness. “We are in control of every step of the process and have worked with the same manufacturer for nearly ten years.” In the early days of Magnet Mouse, the brand sourced its manufacturers and suppliers from abroad, trying a number of countries to find one that fit. However, Mouse and her team quickly found that there was no better way to achieve their ethical, quality, and timely production aims than to house the entire process in their own country. Mouse herself explained: “The technical expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail here on these shores beats everything we encountered abroad.” Similarly, it is no secret that many brands with manufacturing facilities abroad are unaware of the conditions their staff are working in, and child labour is unfortunately commonplace. “Our clothes are made for children, never by children”, stated Mouse. “Everything is made by properly paid adults who finish work at 2pm and do yoga together on a Friday. They care about their work and we care about them. We know them and if there are any questions, we can hop in the car and chat face to face the same day.” This approach reflects Magnet Mouse taking steps to combat a problem that the industry and consumers alike know exists – but do little about. Mouse added: “We need to make people care about the garment manufacturing industry and if they are buying a baby grow for £10, ask how much the worker got paid after fabric, trimming, printing, machinery, overheads, factory managers, salaries, freight, import/export taxes, and finally the UK retailers’ mark up. Did the seamstress get anything at all and if not, why not?” With these questions fresh in the mind, Magnet Mouse’s approach – combined with its recession-resistant nature and enduring designs – is positioning it favourably in a market that needs an overhaul. The garment industry simply tries to move too quickly, collections and styles change all the time and this leads to fast fashion, cheap clothing, and a lot of surplus in landfill. This is bad for everyone, especially the consumer, who is encouraged to buy clothing where quality is a secondary thought. Magnet Mouse’s clothes cry out to be passed along to others or even down the generations, as they have been designed to last. The brand has even branched out into clothing for mothers, bedding for babies, and gifts in recent years, further underpinning its commitment to the cause. It is the trend-setting nature of Magnet Mouse Ltd that has resulted in it featuring in our Parent and Baby Awards for the second consecutive year. Leveraging professional expertise, personal experience, and a compassionate and attentive approach, Daniela accompanies her clients on their journey towards greater clarity, inner security, and relationships that feel right for everyone involved, empowering them to live their roles as daughters, mothers, and women with strength. Raised in a strict, quiet home where communication and connection were neither modelled nor encouraged, Daniela understands how generational patterns shape and also strain relationships, echoing deep into adulthood. It was as a young woman working for international companies in Chicago, and again as a mother, that she discovered her own inner strength and found ways to break free from inherited patterns, a journey that now guides her in helping others build healthier, more connected relationships. Today, a certified and licensed life and social counsellor, Daniela concentrates on generational family coaching. In her practice, she places a clear and personal focus on three core relationship dynamics: mother and daughter, adult daughter and ageing mother, and supporting a relative with dementia. Daniela utilises her 3C approach in her services, 3C standing for communication, confidence, and connection. This begins with D

14 | LUXlife Magazine orking both in person in Largs, Scotland, and online, Dr Marie Prince – the namesake The Fertility Psychologist – delivers a wide range of therapies to help people on the journey to parenthood. Marie recognises the importance in providing those undergoing fertility treatments with robust psychological support, not because the extra stress of trying to get pregnant will stop it from happening, but because these practices help patients live a rich and meaningful life as they continue trying to conceive. Following this thread, Marie explained: “We know stress can impact our health, but as long as we develop strategies to help us cope and regulate our nervous system, then your body and mind can handle the stress and still conceive. We can help you do this.” With stress being both a libido killer and the number one reason why people walk away from IVF, it is not hard to see why the genuine, results-driven methods Marie employs are a lifeline for so many. These techniques begin with Marie meeting a client exactly where they are in their journey, figuring out what it is they need before providing evidence-based strategies to keep them going through the process. Marie achieves this by helping to reduce anxiety and elevate mood, ensuring patients are empowered to live their lives as they progress through their own fertility journeys. Marie works with patients using a blend of ACT and EMDR therapies, achieving stellar results in the process. Alongside these comprehensive therapies used to treat psychological distress, The Fertility Psychologist also offers a range of resources free of charge, such as the Essential Fertility Toolkit. Moreover, as well as the direct clinical care she provides to patients to support them on the fertility rollercoaster, Marie also engages in both research and policy development to raise awareness of the struggles many people face with fertility, the aim being to influence the future of services provided to those experiencing these challenges. Marie is supported in this undertaking by her husband, Joe. An integral part of the business, Joe brings the somatic and spiritual energy that is so important for patients, and his training as both a therapist and breathwork instructor complements the skills Marie has honed over the past 20 years. Together, the couple offer fertility support to all, with members of the LGBTQ+ community welcomed as they go through donor conception and surrogacy. Best Fertility Patient Mental Health Support Specialist 2025 (UK): Dr. Marie Prince Through her services at The Fertility Psychologist Ltd, Clinical Psychologist Dr Marie Prince delivers a holistic experience incorporating elements of mind, body, and soul to offer comprehensive mental health support to her patients navigating their fertility journeys. Marie leverages more than two decades of experience across both NHS and private healthcare settings, blending her compassionate approach with some fun to offer the best outcomes. Below, we caught up with Marie for more on her work. The progressive approach favoured by The Fertility Psychologist is especially relevant today, at a time where Marie described expectations as being stuck in the 1950s, all whilst women are encouraged to ‘have it all’. Going one step further, Marie told us: “Women are often expected to fulfil the traditional ideas of both male and female roles: to build a career, travel the world, buy their own home, be a great friend or daughter, meet ‘the one’, and still have a family: all against the biological clock.” As you can imagine, this is near impossible. This is why fertility treatments are a helpful option for many, as methods such as donor conception and egg freezing make it possible for people to have more choice surrounding their fertility journeys, which is key. Combined with society’s changing attitudes around doing things outside of the traditional routes, real progress is being made. Marie added: “Our role is to support people to make informed choices about their fertility future, all whilst supporting the clients’ mental health in the here and now.” Against this backdrop of change, Marie is excited to announce that the rest of 2025 is an exciting time for the Fertility Psychologist Ltd, which is soon to launch the Fertility Psychologist Podcast and Membership. From here, patients will be able to access resources to support their mental health, from live group therapy sessions and coaching to yoga, meditation, and community.
