Bioplastic is made of renewable raw materials such as corn, beetroot and switchgrass. At first sight it is identical to traditional plastic: the only difference is its chemical composition. Beatrice explores how the firm came about and how, since the beginning, it has been dedicated to sustainability and innovation, incorporating this virtually unknown material for the benefit of its clients and the environment. Drawing on the personal backgrounds of its Founders, eKoala is an innovative children’s products manufacture committed to developing products for children, which utilise unique, alternative materials that are more environmentally friendly than traditional plastic products. Driven by liability and environmental sustainability, eKoala Srl creates innovative, colourful children’s products including toys, cutlery and equipment from alternative materials which are sustainable and safe.
