HypnoBirthing is becoming more well-known and several high-profile ladies have used this to prepare for their upcoming birth. My HypnoMothering Class is a one-off class which teaches mothers easy and fast techniques to make the most of limited sleep, keep calm and balanced on challenging days, and finds focus and mindfulness amidst the myriad of feelings they face following the birth of a child. This can have an impact on their mental health as the techniques encourage mindfulness and rationale. “Additionally, my GroovaRoo class is a baby wearing line dance class which gives mums a chance to learn safe, but enjoyable dance moves they can do while carrying their baby as they do in everyday life. All these classes are done in groups which I have found has brought new mums together, often forming new friendships as they share their learnings and experiences with like-minded mothers and enjoy bonding time with their baby in a fun environment.” Although parenting and birthing classes are becoming increasingly popular, and the market is becoming more and more competitive, Carly believes that her qualifications and expertise are what sets her apart, as she highlights. As with many mothers, Carly Greig struggled with the birthing options she was previously offered, and in turning to alternatives decided to start ...with Carly to share her experiences and knowledge with other mothers in her local area. Being a mum-of-two, I had experienced a very long, tough labour the first time so undertook HypnoBirthing™ for my second. I found that this gave me the tools I needed to have a more natural and calmer second labour. I even opted for a home birth and can happily report that it was a wonderful experience. “In fact, I was so impressed that I undertook the training required to teach HypnoBirthing so that I could offer other mums the chance of a similar experience. After much research, I opted for the Mongan Method which is the original HypnoBirthing method and is widely regarded as the best. I then extended into teaching Baby Massage and again went for the best, IAIM which is Royal College of Midwives accredited.
