Every item served is made from scratch by the eatery’s team of passionate chefs, who aim to use locally sourced produce as much as possible and pride themselves in presenting the food to a very high standard. The menu is seasonal and designed to showcase the best that local, British produce has to offer. Alongside the dishes they serve, the team are also deeply passionate about providing a selection of exceptional wine pairings and delicious drinks to tempt its guests. When setting up the Byre Café, the team worked alongside a local independent wine merchant to choose a balanced yet affordable wine list. Year round, the team at the Byre Café aim to welcome a range of guests and provide them with award-winning hospitality and delicious, fresh dishes. In winter the establishment is cosy and welcoming, with a log burner, and in the summer guests can dine outside on the terrace and enjoy the splendour of an English summer’s day in the countryside. Having recently expanded the Byre Café to include a gift shop, terrace area and coffee lounge to meet increasing customer demand, looking ahead the team will be focusing on continuing to drive the eatery to success and welcoming even more guests throughout 2019 and beyond.
