There is a classic, beautifully renovated Tillinghast/Emmet golf course, pool facilities and stunning gardens for guests to enjoy. Additionally, the newly renovated clubhouse offers a range of indoor entertainments, including creative and fun dining options developed by the new club’s chef and his team. Situated just 30-minutes from Manhattan, the club is able to offer its members a rural escape before they return to the hustle and bustle of the metropolis. Specifically, Bonnie Briar’s Tennis Programme offers first class coaching to a wide range of players. To ensure that it continues to offer the services that clients want, the club hosts daily, weekly and monthly Directors meeting to analyze and strategies for the ever-changing needs and wants of its unique membership. Bonnie Briar Country Club Tennis Club of the Year 2018 - New York 4-17 years. Using the right sized rackets, balls and equipment, the club has grown the junior program over 300%, which has helped it to welcome a more diverse range of players. The club is also constantly upgrading it technology, specifically in regard to membership communication so that it can remain in contact with its members and keep them abreast of the latest developments and new offerings from the club. Overall, the future looks bright for the Bonnie Briar Country Club and its Tennis Programme. Tennis Programme membership usage is consistent, however 2018 has been a tough year due to record high rainfall, and as such the team are keen to expand their facilities to adapt around this challenge by creating a covered space for winter and poor weather play, as well as possible indoor courts. There are also plans to expand the club’s array of outdoor courts to accommodate the ever-growing array of members who are keen to play and make use the club’s award-winning tennis facilities. These developments will ensure that the Bonnie Briar Country Club and its Tennis Programme look forward to a bright and prosperous future.
