Vitigliano is the dream of Marion and she takes us on a journey, explaining how she has come to realise her dream, renovating and transforming the ruins of Vitigliano into the wonderful establishment that it is today. It really is fascinating for Marion, having overseen the project from inception to completion, to see guests enjoying every single aspect of the facility and venue. “Here at Vitigliano, we live my dream and let our guests participate in the most authentic way. We share our property and our values with them and they know that it is not a marketing strategy, it is our real life. In 2008, when we first saw the ruins of Vitigliano, we have managed to transform our dream into reality, as from the moment we first saw Vitigliano, we wanted to renovate it into our wonderful venue. “It was a contemplation that touched us deeply and we knew that this was the place where we would set down roots for ourselves and our children. Initially, we renovated only a small part to enable us to move in with all our children and to restore the rest of the property from here over the following five years.” Boasting a second-to-none location in the Chianti region, half-way between Florence and Siena, Vitigliano’s unique hilltop setting offers a breath-taking, unobstructed 360 o view from dawn till dusk, guaranteeing a picturesque view from every room.
