56 The Byre at Inchyra is a blank canvas barn wedding and events venue in Perthshire, Scotland. We speak to Caroline Inchyra as we aim to find out about this luxurious and fascinating venue, that brings so many amazing memories into their clients’ lives. The Byre at Inchyra hosts approximately 50 weddings each year, each one running over three days, giving clients exclusive access to the Byre and the estate at Inchyra during that time. The establishment is a blank canvas wedding venue, meaning it can provide any service possible to suit the bride’s needs. Caroline tells us how the firm works to always achieve excellence and ensure that only the best food and beverages are served at Inchyra. “Firstly, when organising an event for the venue, we offer our clients a choice of Approved Caterers. These caterers are assessed on an event by event basis by our team to ensure that their high standards are maintained.” Providing us with an overview of the wedding sector, Caroline notes that barn weddings continue to be recognised as a common theme, but stresses that at Inchyra, couples are given the freedom to have the event in the style they truly desire. It is the freedom to create along with high-quality customer service which has contributed to Inchyra being selected in LUX’s Best of the Wedding Industry Awards as the Most Outstanding Barn Wedding Venue 2018 in Scotland, and Caroline tells us what it means to her and the rest of the team at the venue. “Barn weddings continue to be popular in Scotland and, particularly, the style of wedding that we offer at Inchyra, where couples can come in and really make their own mark on the venue in terms of the weddings styling, is particularly popular. 1802LU10 “Honestly, we are absolutely delighted that all the hard work and attention to detail that the whole team at Inchyra puts into the venue and into each and every event that is held here has been recognised in this way, and by such a prestigious title.” Other aspects which have been key to the fantastic reputation that Inchyra holds include the team cohesion and thriving work environment, with employees always working hard to produce the best result. “Throughout the company, we have a very tight knit team at Inchyra and we work hard to ensure that everyone on the team plays their role to the full. We constantly assess every aspect of both the venue and the assistance that we give to our clients in the run up to their wedding or event. Caroline concludes by telling us about the upcoming refurbishments which will see even more couples determined to have their wedding at The Byre at Inchyra. “Obviously as a wedding venue we cannot develop in terms of the number of events we can host, but we can develop in what we offer to our clients.
