82 Originally opened in 2007, Onsen Hot Pools are a highlight for many on a visit to Queenstown and the team at the venue are very proud of the boutique day spa experience that they provide. Its private pools are heated to approximately 38.3 degrees and each tub is in its own pool room with a retractable roof, so you can enjoy the spectacular views no matter what the weather. For the ultimate experience, the company can also enjoy either a couples or individual massage and facial onsite. Relaxation the Natural Way Perched on the cliffs amidst a stunning mountain range, this old gold miner’s town is just 10mins from Queenstown or 13km from Arrowtown making it a convenient, tranquil escape from the more action packed, adrenaline filled activities and winery offerings in the region. Jess tells us more about the location, and explains what services and packages the team offers which are tailored to suit all relaxation needs. “Here at Onsen, we tailor our packages to suit the relevant requirements of customers, including The Onsen Experience which is a great way to kick back, relax and enjoy your surrounds. This package gives you private access to one of our cedar hot tubs, with a retractable roof for an hour. “Another service we offer is Tandeki, and this is good for those who want something a little more special. Complete with an aromatherapy burner, a complimentary glass of the regions finest wine, beer or juice and a choice of ice cream, crisps or chocolate to enjoy while you soak in one of our private hot tubs for an hour. “Lastly, guests have the option of the Ultimate Relaxation package, and this is pure indulgence. Your experience begins with an hour in a cedar hot tub while you enjoy a complimentary selection of local refreshments and a snack.
