This pioneering concept sets B/Attitude above other spa and wellness providers thanks to its sheer ingenuity. Combining cutting edge science with clear and detailed wellness plans, the four DNA tests focus on health management, dietary disposition, athletic performance and anti-ageing, revealing sensitivities, susceptibilities, and the keys to true health potential – all in warm and inviting settings in the hands of a dedicated and friendly team of staff.” Embedded in the Spa’s culture is its team members’ ability to deliver an unrivalled service in all facets of their work. Ivana explains how she ensures that everyone within the establishment is fully aware of the Spa’s aims and as such are willing to put the customer first. “The company is built around standards of procedure for every department, which are monitored by the heads of departments. Employee meetings are held on the monthly basis to ensure that everyone is aware of the progress of the company, and awards are given to employees of the month in respective departments. It is important that on the individual level employees love their work and strive to build a career in the chosen field, so the motivation to excel is both internal and external.” Having launched in January 2013, guests’ expectations have risen extensively, and the team at B/Attitude has had to adapt accordingly in order to continue to provide an excellent service. Ivana remarks on the Spa’s growth and expansion, including the rise in the number of employees and activities. “Initially it was a company of 20 employees, focusing only on Spa services. The brand was positioned as a female Spa only by the visual of its collaterals and it took us two years to communicate to the audience that B/Attitude encompasses Spa, Beauty and Fitness, both for ladies and gentlemen, which was reflected subsequently by an increase in the turnover. “The company grew from 25 employees into a company of 40 employees, doubling its revenue from 2013 to 2018. We have moved from a Spa-only business into a general Wellness field, offering services and products designed to support a wellness based lifestyle that includes regular exercise, relaxed mind and body, and customised beauty skin care, with the goal of adding medical aesthetic services under the same umbrella.” Ultimately, with B/Attitude continuing to grow in terms of size and employee numbers, Ivana predicts a bright future ahead for the Spa, as she alludes to what services the team is planning to offer in the times ahead. “In the long run, B/Attitude Doha aims to offer a single destination for aesthetic treatments, complementary Spa, Fitness and Beauty therapies and medical aesthetic procedures, which would be incorporated into an expanded Spa facility.
