92 Woofs and Meows are a two-man team; dedicated, fully insured and qualified, offering Pet Care Services, based in Dearham, and surrounding areas. We invited Brett Williams to tell us more about the exciting and efficient services that the team offers. Located in Cumbria, Woofs and Meows offers a variety of different services including Dog Walking, Pet Sitting, feeding client’s animals, pop-in play sessions and many other offerings. Whatever your needs, the duo at Woofs and Meows will endeavour to help in the most appropriate way they can, personally tailoring each service to suit the individual client and pet. Starting off the discussion, Brett believes that the company’s prices are integral in enticing customers from all over the region, and the unrivalled customer service that customers receive, along with the special offerings that the company provides are something that the team are very proud of, as Brett explains. “Here at Woods and Meows, we believe that our prices are reasonable for the passionate, trustworthy and reliable staff we send out to care for your beloved four-legged animals. In order to thank our customers for their continued support, we have introduced a Loyalty Card Scheme. This enables customers who choose to book a month in advance. Upon payment, they receive a stamp and once they receive five stamps, they receive a weeks’ worth of services completely free of charge. We have many customers on this scheme and this allows us to spend more time with our extended family of pets!” “Furthermore, an additional service we offer are ‘Pup-dates’. These are sent through WhatsApp, at no charge to the customer. It allows owners to see what their pooches get up to, where they have been and who they have been interacting with. This service has been given a special priority for those owners who have never used a Pet Care service before, allowing them to gain peace of mind whilst we have their pets.” Clearly excited about the work that he undertakes, Brett comments on what aspects of his work he enjoys the most, highlighting the satisfaction that he receives from pets enjoying their time at Woofs and Meows. “Honestly, it is a real joy to wake up each morning and look forward to the day ahead, thinking about where we will be going, how to make things different each time we walk our dogs. In order to make things interesting, we love to play various games and hide treats throughout the long grass for the dogs to find- enhancing and engaging their senses and developing their communication skills working together as a pack.” Offering a diverse range of services has seen Brett work with customers from a typically varied background, and he has made it the company’s mission to adapt each service to the suit the client. “When adapting each service to suit each client, we make sure that every step is taken to ensure safety and risk factors are considered and assessed before each service has begun. We endeavour that our services are guaranteed to be completed at the highest level possible so that our customers receive the best service from us.” Consistently exceeding customer expectations and enjoying the work they undertake during the process has led Brett to be extremely positive about what the future will hold for the company. In his concluding comments, he hints at future expansion for the company, mentioning the relevant procedures that the team will perform in order to ensure that the company has a successful future, noting the stringent recruitment structure that will come alongside the expansion. “Looking in to the near future, we are hoping to expand our business; spreading further afield and hiring new staff to help with the expansion. In doing so, we will be able to help more people who need our various services. Currently, we are inundated with calls and messages, and new staff may be on the cards in the next couple of months. When we hire, we will be looking for passionate, enthusiastic, trustworthy and reliable people. We will be going through each CV by hand and ensuring we choose only the best; as that is what our customers deserve. We have had training ourselves and are constantly learning new ways to communicate with the animals we work with on a day to day basis, so continuous professional development is a must have in our eyes. We love to find new ways to understand the animals in our care, and how we can help them when needed. “If we manage to spread our business, further away from our current location, we will be looking for a base where we can keep in constant communication.
