The charity is dedicated to helping all dogs regardless of breed, age, colour, ethnicity, and disability. As Phoenix is completely run by volunteers, all donations go directly towards helping dogs in need. In addition to LUXlife’s prestigious award, Phoenix has also been nominated for Animal Charity Team of the Year 2024 in the PetPlan & ADCH Annual Charity Awards for the team’s unwavering care and support. At Phoenix Rehoming, every dog receives the highest possible standard of care while the team searches for their long-term home. The charity is a foster based rescue, meaning that all dogs live in homes rather than kennels. Phoenix Rehoming has become highly successful thanks to the outstanding support of its exceptional foster carers who take rescue dogs into their own homes. “Any dog, from anywhere, for any reason.” As part of the adoption process, one of Phoenix’s qualified dog trainers will organise a pre-adoption call and follow up call after the dog has arrived. Adopting a dog is a big step and these checkups are in place to ensure both adopters and their dogs have as much support as possible during the first month.
