The rooms are painted with eco-friendly Earthborne clay paint to preserve the original lime plaster walls. Many hours were spent stripping all wood work back to its original Canadian or American pine / pitch pine and protected with eco-friendly osmo oil. Both the en-suite bathrooms include a power shower, hand held shower, good lighting, mirrors, and shaver socket. Guests will be offered the fantastic ‘Sea Breeze’ toiletries from ‘Myddfai’, a social enterprise located in Llangadog, Carmarthenshire. Seeking to start every guest’s day right, Taldraeth offers a full Welsh breakfast which is cooked from the Aga that includes fried local free-range eggs, bacon, local sausages, black pudding, tomatoes, mushrooms, laver bread circles and cockles. The full vegetarian breakfast includes homemade Glamorgan sausages. There are also many more options such as cheese and mushroom soufflé omelette and Welsh rarebit.
