Peter A Distefano has used photography as the bread and butter of his career for a long time, and World Traveler News also acts as a sales platform for his photography books: including 4 that he developed on the rock and roll scenes in various countries. Each photo book of this variety, covering nations such as Thailand, Malaysia, Germany, and Bavaria to name but a few, contains vibrant and well-developed colour prints. The industry faced significant challenges as border closures and social distancing rules caused mandatory shutdowns, some temporary, some unfortunately permanent. World Traveler News considers itself one of the lucky few in that it had a backlog of excursions covered that have allowed it to continue putting content out there despite not being able to go and gather new material. It foresees that the challenges of the pandemic will continue for some time yet. However, it is hopeful for the rejuvenation of its industry when vaccines have been rolled out and borders reopened; it is excited to immerse itself once again in promoting globalisation worldwide.
