LUX - Winter 2018 21 Blending Food and Fun into One Blending Food and Fun into One Staff at Blend provide a warm and welcoming service to all customers, both in the bar and the restaurant. All of the company’s venues are decorated with its signature Blend aesthetic, meaning comfort and class is at the front of customer’s minds. The bar’s suspended dimmed cocktail bar lights set the mood as they enter, through to the contemporary restaurant where staff always have numerous menus and promotions running at any time. The venue is divided in two, allowing the restaurant and the dancefloor to be separate but easily accessible, accommodating all types of guests. On the weekend, the team work hard to create a more vibrant atmosphere, introducing live DJ’s delivering classic hits and dance floor filling tunes. Importantly, the food is only made by the best quality ingredients from fresh local produce. Rebecca explains what it is about Blend which attracts customers to the venue, including the wonderful food and fantastic customer service which every member of staff provides. It is the homemade factor which appears to be the major attraction for customers, with Blend providing their own unique spin on delicious meals. “Here at Blend, we are proud of our range of delicious recipes and reinvented home cooked meals off the grill. Our waiters are provided with training to make sure they can cater to every client’s specific needs where we can. We offer our customers mouth-watering flavours delivered from us, to the plate in front of them. “Regarding our most high-profile dishes, we serve the delicious tomahawk for those who want to splash out and eat like a king! Another one of our crowd favourites is our Salt and Pepper Calamari, served with our homemade garlic and chive mayo. This brilliant recipe is Blend’s own, and we are proud of the fact that this is at such high standard, proving to be a huge hit with customers. “Furthermore, Blend provides a range of fresh steaks, burgers and lobsters, all perfectly cooked by only the highest trained chefs. If you are not already full, then to finish off your meal we offer our customers a selection of delightful deserts including our favourite; the deluxe Oreo cookie waffle served warm with a scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream. All our desserts round off the meal with a homemade feel, many of which have been complimented by all our customers.” Aiming to provide customers with a mix of glamour, excellence and fun, all staff operates with a motto of assisting customers to Eat, Drink and Dance, with customers usually leaving extremely satisfied. Moving on to discuss the bar and dancefloor, Rebecca tells us about the superb bar venue, which always ensures customers have a good time. “If customers come to dance rather than eat, we have a large bar with a modern design. Major perks include our fantastically trained bartenders, a dance floor, comfy seating areas and on the weekends, we bring in different resident DJ’s to help create a different experience for our customers every week. Additionally, our bar menu has an eclectic cocktail list with our spin on all the classics.” Similar to the food on offer at Blend, Rebecca explains how most of the drinks recipes provided by the bar are original, and she cites excellent customer satisfaction levels and comments as testament to the delicious flavour of the drinks and food provided.
