38 PMU Conference of TheYear 2021 Sep21027 VEGAS PMU CONFERENCE – OUR STORY Melissa Palacios first became interested in the PMU industry through her daughter Sabrina, who opened her own microblading studio in Las Vegas the day she turned 18. Sabrina’s enthusiasm for the PMU industry was quickly passed on to Melissa and the rest of the family. However, Melissa soon noticed that Sabrina and other microblading artists across the US had limited access to training and networking conferences where they could learn other microblading and PMU techniques. Finding inspiration in this, Melissa alongside her husband Eric, and other partners got together and held the first “Vegas PMU Conference” in 2017. On the back of that first momentous success, Vegas PMU Conference has been hosting training, marketing and networking events in Las Vegas for the past five years. Words by Vegas PMU Conference
