Almost 30 years ago, John started photographing with black and white film, using a dark room to develop his photographs. He also earned Ph.D. in Sport Science, with research in expert performance. John has worked as a consultant to many elite athletes, coaches and national teams, with the goal to improve performance. Then he took his knowledge of how to prepare in elite sports, to work on improving his own photography. This path has led him to win multiple international awards and happy clients. This includes first place in the Swedish National Print Competition wedding category, winning the Wedding Photograph of the Year in Sweden, gold-award at WPPI in Las Vegas, and representing Sweden in their national team at World Photographic Cup. John has also worked for national television and his photographs have been published in many books. In addition to this, John is a father and a husband.
