Independent watch maker, Culem Watches, will be launching its first automatic luxury dual-time GMT travel watch on 7th May 2019.
Culem combines two passions; mind-expanding travel and luxury watches of the highest craftmanship. A Culem watch is a collection of memories in time, a capsule of your most treasured journeys, and a window into a world of discovery.
Culem Watches are also the world’s first luxury watch brand to correctly display 24 world time zones in both GMT and BST on an open case back – allowing you to set the local and destination time on your GMT watch accurately.
The Swiss-made watch, the first in a series of nine, will be a must-have for collectors. There will only be a limited number of these precision time pieces, each made to order, and available from Kickstarter on 7th May 2019.
Only 220 watches will be available with a 30% discount for a June delivery and 40% off for a December delivery. Each watch is delivered in a miniature elegant luxury travel trunk box.

Culem Watches’ first collection – the world GMT collection – consists of three unique designs; The Portal, The Frame and The Lights – all inspired by our beautiful world. The dial of each watch shows a stunning contemporary image of the world map and is designed for people who love to travel. The Portal comes in blue, black, grey and gold; The Frame in blue, black and grey editions; and The Lights in blue, black and gold
The Portal dial has a unique 3D re-creation of the world that appears to take you to another dimension. The Frame dial has clear defined edges in and around the continents, framing your world in new ways. The Lights dial has tiny white luminescent dots that illuminate your world by night. And all show the local and destination time.
Each watch is presented in a round 40 mm case (in either stainless steel, black PVD or gold plated), protected by sapphire glass and a unique crown, inspired by the waves of the sea.
On the open case back, premium automatic ETA 2893-2 movement is clearly displayed and surrounded by an engraving of 24 destinations showing the correct time in both GMT and BST – allowing you to set the watch accurately to your destination
Each watch comes with two elegant Italian leather straps with interchangeable pins.
