The iconic hotel near Buckingham Palace and a stone’s throw from the Apollo Victoria Theatre, the home of WICKED in London for the past 16 years, is adding a ‘wickedly good’ twist to their classic afternoon tea. Combining traditional refinement with a spellbinding twist, the WICKED-inspired afternoon tea certainly has no tricks but all treats, making passersby green with envy.
Guests can prepare to be thrilled with delicate smoked salmon and cream cheese sandwiches, classic scones and an array of green treats, such as chocolate & pistachio bombes and lime cheesecakes, priced at £35 per head*. Alongside decadent fancies, the cocktails are ‘to die for’ named ‘The Wicked’ and ‘The Good’ referring to the unlikely but profound friendship between the two main characters in the West End hit.
Both serve different combinations of mouthwatering sweet, fruity flavours, topped up with sparkling wine. Elphaba and Glinda would surely approve…
