Smith’s Bar & Grill is thrilled to announce the launch of its exquisite new tasting menu, a sophisticated dining experience with a live violinist, designed to tantalise the senses and showcase the finest ingredients. Available every Friday (6:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and Saturday (6:30 PM – 10:30 PM).
This offering is priced at just £49 per person and includes a complimentary welcome glass of fizz and grappa to finish your meal with. For those seeking an elevated experience, the menu is available with sommelier selected wine pairings, along with the welcome fizz and grappa, for an extra £30 per person.
5-Course Tasting Menu
Your night begins with a warm welcome and a glass of fizz to set the tone. Each course celebrates premium ingredients and meticulous preparation. The tasting menu includes:
Truffle Sensation – Egg yolk fritter filled with black winter truffle cream
Fresh Oyster – Fresh Maldon oyster served with tangy dressing foam
Scallop – Hand-dived fresh Dover scallop, served on the shell with Jerusalem artichoke
Beef Tartare – Scottish lean beef, truffle oil, capers, tabasco and a quail egg yolk
Crispy Rice – With tuna
Cod Fillet – Pan fried with mushroom beurre blank and spinach
Fillet Steak – Chargrilled, Scottish fillet steak, served with foie gras, gratin potato and wild mushroom sauce
Profiteroles – Choux pastry dough filled with cream and poured with dark chocolate on the top Grappa or Coffee

For those opting for the wine pairing experience, each course is thoughtfully matched with a carefully selected wine, by our sommelier, to enhance the flavours and elevate the dining journey. The pairing features a harmonious blend of white, rosé, and red wines, each chosen to complement the unique profile of every dish.
