New research has found that SKIMS by Kim Kardashian is the most popular celebrity clothing brand in the world – ranking above her sisters and former husband.

The world’s most popular celebrity clothing brand is SKIMS by Kim Kardashian with an index score of 79.93 out of 100, according to the findings. The brand which specialises in shapewear, loungewear, and underwear, receives the highest number of Google searches each month compared to every other brand analysed – seeing a monthly average of over 3.4 million searches relating to purchasing the items.
The study also found that the brand has an incredible 5.9 million followers on Instagram and receives an average rating of 3.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot – highlighting the satisfaction that consumers have with the brand.
#2 Savage X Fenty by Rihanna
Second, with an index score of 66.34 out of 100, is another celebrity lingerie brand, Savage X Fenty by Rihanna. According to the brand’s website, the company “celebrate fearlessness, confidence and inclusivity” – which is a mission that the data suggests consumers appreciate.
This is because the brand experiences more than 384,000 searches each month, with an average Trustpilot review of 4.5 out of 5 from those customers – emphasising the wide consumer base pleased with the company’s pieces. Not to mention the huge 5.1 million followers the brand’s Instagram has amassed.
#3 Fabletics by Kate Hudson
Making three for three for female-owned businesses, Fabletics by Kate Hudson places as the third most popular global celebrity apparel brand – with an overall index score of 52.11. The activewear brand has gained an impressive social following of more than 1.95 million on Instagram – with fitness lovers from all over keeping up to date with the latest news and collection drops from the brand.
Not only has Fabletics accumulated a significant number of followers, but these numbers translate to searches to purchase fashion items, too. According to the findings, the brand receives an immense 1.3 million monthly searches of terms such as “buy Fabletics” or “where is Fabletics stocked”. Plus, the brand has an average review score of 3.9 out of 5 on Trustpilot.
#4 Yeezy by Kanye West
Ranking fourth is Yeezy by Kanye West, with an index score of 51.98 – which is 54% lower than his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian’s brand at the top – but still ranks the rapper’s brand in the top five.
According to the findings, the brand has a huge social media following and monthly Google searches to purchase goods – at 3.3 million Instagram followers and over 3 million monthly searches on average. However, the metric which lowers the brand’s overall index score is its Trustpilot review – which the study found to be 2.8 out of 5.
#5 Good American by Khloe Kardashian
Rounding out the top five is another of the famous Kardashian family – with Good American by Khloe Kardashian receiving an index score of 47.45. The study found that the brand has impressive customer satisfaction ratings – with the brand achieving an average Trustpilot review score of 4 out of 5.
The brand also appears very well known across the internet, with the study finding the brand has a huge following on Instagram of more than 2.4 million accounts and experiences an average monthly search volume of interest in the brand of 217,000 every month.

Of the celebrity apparel brands analysed, some more hugely popular names also placed in the top ten, missing out on the coveted top spots. In sixth is The Jessica Simpson Collection (33.88/100), followed by Emily Ratajakowski’s swimwear brand, Inamorata (33.67/100) and fashion powerhouse, Stella McCartney in eighth (25/100).
However, rounding out the top ten are two global superstars, Beyoncé and Drake, as their respective clothing brands Ivy Park (23.11/100) and October’s Very Own (14.35/100), rank in the ninth and tenth spots.
