A YouGov survey of 2,000 adults across the UK revealed that almost two thirds of those surveyed are overdue a declutter, but 65.7 per cent were holding onto items because they may need them in the future.
It’s not realistic to get rid of everything in our homes, and it’s natural that some items will be needed more than others depending on the time of year.
Whether it’s festive decorations, seasonal clothing, sports equipment, additional artwork, or suitcases, most of us have items that we don’t necessarily want to get rid of, but don’t want out on display either.
