Founder of bespoke carpet design company, AER Textiles, Angel Rios and multidisciplinary artist René Garza, specialize in custom hand knotted Tibetan rugs and hand tufted art rugs and tapestries. Each is handmade by highly-skilled artisans using the finest materials to create rugs with old-world tradition and modern techniques. They have received multiple accolades including “Best in Textile Design” at the PaperCity Design Awards 2019 for a trompe l’oeil rug based on a sculpture by René Garza.
