Anam Cara Counseling

Anam Cara Counseling is a nonprofit mental health organization in Northwest Indiana offering trauma-informed counseling, equine-assisted psychotherapy, and community wellness programs. Rooted in a philosophy of connection over control, we partner with horses as sentient beings to support emotional regulation, resilience, and healing. Serving youth, adults, families, veterans, and military-connected individuals, we provide ethical, relationship-centered care that honors both people and animals.
