The 143rd edition of the historic Birdsville Races will be staged across Friday 5th and Saturday 6th, 2025.
Thousands of colourful punters will converge on the iconic racetrack that sits on the edge of the Simpson Desert for the two-day race meet.
Known as the Melbourne Cup of the Outback – trainers, jockeys and intrepid Birdsville Races Roadies travel thousands of kilometres to attend, swelling numbers in the remote township of Birdsville from around 150 to close to 7,000.
