Jchanet Tan had been an advocate for more than 5 years before setting up CPS Malaysia with 3 partners. Their aim: to reduce injuries of children by creating safety seat and safety belt awareness. Their vision ZERO; eliminating childhood deaths resulting from riding unrestrained. Ms Tan is the only person in Malaysia who is a Child Safety Seat Advisor through IOSH UK and Child Passenger Safety Technician Instructor through SafeKids Worldwide USA. She the the strongest advocate in Malaysia. They addressed compatibility problems with safety seats, including substantial fake product availability and inconsistent vehicle equipment, family and cultural norms, and language diversity, and turned CPS in Malaysia from "zero" into law.
