In 1984, Ruffino established Hospitality Management Services, a consultancy that would eventually extend across travel, entertainment, and real estate. As the company scaled, so did ambitions.. HMS entered film and television with Cine-Star and Regent Pictures in 1999, followed by Production Werks in 2000.
