Houghton Lodge

Houghton Lodge is the finest surviving example in England of an 18th century Cottage Orné. Idyllically situated above the River Test it exemplifies the “picturesque” genre of the late 1700s. The symbiosis of landscape, garden, aspects, views and historic house meld in total harmony.
