Jacqui has worked in the F&B sector for over 30 years. With a successful career working in the HE Sector,
Jacqui was Head of Catering at Manchester Metropolitan University for almost 10 years. The large University had 36,000 students and 4,000 staff and Jacqui worked hard to ensure that there was a positive “Allergen Awareness Culture” within the team. Jacqui’s youngest daughter had suffered with reactions to a variety of food groups from the age of 14, and Jacqui realised that the student population was vulnerable whilst living away from home if they had severe food allergies.
Jacqui is the Founder & Director of JACS Ltd and is passionate about raising awareness of allergens, in the F&B sector. Her experience as a parent along with a career in the industry puts Jacqui in a unique position: “To provide the knowledge & confidence to deliver excellent, safe dining experiences for all customers”
