Neate Crafts

I trained as a Fine Artist in Cheltenham, worked as a designer at an Elizabethan Manor House, Bramall Hall, Cheshire then came to Cumbria where I worked as Artist-in-Residence at Muncaster Castle for a few years before moving to Seascale and setting up my own online business Neate Crafts.

I work in many mediums including pencil, pastel, watercolour, acrylic and more. I love any subject especially flora and fauna, buildings, landscapes, seascapes, people, pets, still life, in fact almost any subject holds an interest for me and being in Cumbria is certainly conducive to this.

As well as original artwork including commissions I produce prints and design and create many crafts including jewellery, pyrography ( wood-burning), knitting, scrumbling ( free form crochet) , Verre Eglomise ( ancient art of creating an image by gilding on glass ) plus lots more.
