The Tubbercurry Old Fair Day Festival is a 5-day heritage and craft festival, showcasing heritage, crafts and skills of days gone by. The highlight of the festival is our heritage and craft village and vintage displays on the Old Fair Day, this take place on the second Wednesday in August each year and the festival is based around the day. We have live country music bands, demonstrations, workshops to try your hand at pottery or weaving, large vintage displays, animals, kids zone, stalls and artisan food producers. Year on year the festival has grown, attracting crowds of up to 20k to the Tubbercurry Old Fair Day. Truly a family festival with the town pedestrianised for music on the opening Saturday night, the Family Fun Day on the Sunday and the Old Fair Day on the Wednesday. We were thrilled our festival has being chosen as top 14^th festival to visit in the world by Canadian’s Flight Network, it is an honour to be mentioned alongside festivals from Brazil, US, UK, Germany and Spain and reflects on the festivals offering to bring it to international attention. We also won the Best Cultural Festival and Overall Best Tourism Award at Sligo Business Awards 2017. One of our proudest achievement is our festival is free entry to the public and is very family friendly. #OldFarDay
